One of the most boring albums I've ever heard. At least St. Anger is funny bad.
Very boring except for The Enemy Inside and Illumination Theory also has its moments.
One of the greatest albums of all time that oddly doesn't see a lot of popularity. Mixture of grunge all stars Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, and more combine to form this amazing supergroup. Some of Cornell's best vocal performances, especially on tracks like Say Hello 2 Heaven, Wooden Jesus, and of course Hunger Strike. It's a shame they never released more music.
A much heavier sound than on previous of their records, but not unwelcome.
Superunknown is Soundgarden's greatest work, and I consider it the pinnacle of the grunge movement. Dark and heavy guitar work with emotionally provocative lyricism fill this album. It never lets up through its 70 minute run time. Truly makes you feel alive in the superunknown.
Some of Led Zeppelin’s best work. To me this is their most consistently great albums. This album shows a very introspective and psychedelic side of Led Zeppelin that is not seen in much of their discography. This is especially present in standout tracks The Rain Song and No Quarter. Full of great tracks and showed that they still had much more to say.
Their future work definitely outshines this but I still think it is a solid album.
Took me many listens to appreciate the album in full, but initially I kept coming back just to hear Never Meant, which I consider to be one of the greatest songs of all time. This album just clicks. The instrumentation has that mix of melancholic and youthful energy that draws you in. Great lyrics and vibes, great album.
