Initial Review: I listened to this album in the early morning & at night both through headphones & in my car & as of now I can unfortunately say it didn't live up to the hype I had. There are plenty of stand out songs like "RADAR, RATHER LIE, & GOOD CREDIT" yet the latter half of the album feels like filler & I don't see any reason to include a handful of these tracks. I was expecting a rage/trap project and thats exactly what I received, most of the ... read more
One of the most experimental & ground breaking modern trap albums that influenced a whole new wave of hip hop. Noody can deny the otherworldly influence of this album on countless artists in recent years, that being said, it is undeniably slap certified. You want some shit you can bang your head into a wall to? That's this whole album. Enjoy.
This WSG project really stuck with me. THIS IS GAS. The guest appearances elevate this project so much, any song that had Estee Nack or Stovegood Cooks were predetermined bangers, & everythhing else is super solid. I'm here for this.
God Damn. This is the epitome of what I expect from Lucki. Crazy ethereal instumentals & that drugged out flow he practically mastered on this. This is the best project to dive into Lucki's discography for what you can expect in the others.
Its decent, with F1LTHY production you would expect Lucki to be trying his damn hardest but that's not exactly what we get. Now I do enjoy this album, but there definitely are some issues.
Relistened to this project & my god is it a one bloated ass album. It would unironically be up there in Lucki's discography if only a 1/4 of the songs were cut.
I listened to this but for some reason didn't rate it & in all honesty it is incredibly underwhelming. The instrumentals are lackluster, the features don't add as much as you'd think they would & Lucki's performance on some of these songs is even more lazy than normal. If you like Lucki you'll find something to pick out of this project, but not very much unfortunately.
Early Lucki hits different, this project is no less of spectacular. If you like experimental hip hop, you will undoubtedly enjoy this project. Listening to this off hallucinogens would be an etherial experiance. I need to put that on my to do list.
What a banger little 3 track ep primarily produced by the conductor, if you like Joey, you’ll like this no doubt.
IDK just consistently drops those more good than mediocre albums and in all honesty I would take this over whatever the hell some of these other rappers are dropping.
Look, its a quality album and I shouldn't expect more from a Larry June album but I am tired of these just good enough to get by albums. The highlights of this project easily come from the Alchemist production, the laid back rap feeling is incredibly apparent too. The chill dad rap that anyone could put on and vibe too.
It’s alright, definitely an underwhelming follow up to his previous work, but we move.
God damn, DC's evolution has been wild, this is a project with such a wide variety of genres and styles that interestly mesh its quite impressive.
