What an incredible turn around for Cordae compared to his last record, this may possibly his most mature and best written work yet.
I’m not going to sugar coat it, this is GARBAGE. There’s quite possibly zero redeeming qualities of this project except for a few standout songs but to label this as the sequel of Eternal Atake just baffles me. Eternal Atake told a concise story throughout the songs and mostly every one felt like it was supposed to be there but this is just straight mumbo jumbo. 👎
It’s not bad but I expected way more from a project that’s had the title teased for over a year now. The project gets so dull in the middle and it seems as if the songs just bleed into one another they sound damn near that similar. There’s definitely not as many songs that have clung to me on LYFESTYLE compared to Yeats other projects as well, it’s alright at best.
EDIT: I changed my mind, shit grew on me

This is legitimately one of the most uninspired and boring Future projects I’ve ever heard. It sounds like on most of these cuts he’s not even trying and the production is so similar throughout that it gets too bland. It’s basically just an unimaginative trap slug fest with a few actual hard hitters every once in a while where he’s not just mumbling and humming over spastic high hats and intense base. I would not recommend listening unless you are a die hard Future fan ... read more
This project is way too hit or miss, sometimes I understand what he's going for and other times I'm questioning if this is even Childish Gambino.
holy snooze fest.
EDIT: 45 ---> 50 Yeah not much changed with this relisten. The mixing is dogshit on some tracks & its just an overall boring project, I need old Lone back.
This record is so good, everyone meshes well with each other, and the instrumentals are great. Shit just makes me want to spread positivity.
Its alright, I expected better though.
A Hard hitting Memphis trap record, what can Denzel not do?
