I don't even care enough to rate this. Songs with Babytron & Benny cool though.
Look, I like JID, but this is not his best. The mixing on this is all over the place (especially the Eminem feature) & some of the flows/cadences just do not go well with the instrumentals. I was expecting a little more.
I will not lie, I came into this project thinking it wasn't going to be that great considering Hardrock's last album seemed like a bunch of throwaways but I was pleasantly surprised by this. Cool ass transitions. ✔️ Ethereal, war ready production. ✔️ Hardrock doesn't sound like he has a sinus infection 99% of the time. ✔️ This will undeniably be a project I'll revisit. (I also can't deny, in some of these tracks he sounds like Carti, but it's still ... read more
Yeah this is the shit, Sosocamo comes through with his first full length LP & it blew me away & how quality it is. He’s practically mastered that chill, laid back melodic rap & comes through here with little disappointment. The production is really takes the cake too, it’s on point the entire record. Sosocamo himself takes these beats & runs with them the best way he can & it shows, their is a lot of great tracks on here but my favorite would have to be ... read more
In anticipation of Hardrock releasing his new album I decided to give this a listen since I had never fully listened to it & for this whole project it feels as if he put a bunch of throwaways into an album. It’s a filler project, & I’m just not the biggest fan of the simplicity of some of the tracks & how Hardrock is flowing. There’s some hidden stand outs like “KING TUT” but as an entire body of work, it just feels lackluster.
Decided to take a step back from the bars of hip-hop & check out this r&b gem since that’s been my mood as of late. I also wanted to check this out because I found out this dude was a BACKYARDIGAN??? Anyways, onto the music, which is damn good; nothing too crazy or experimental which was to be expected but instead just some lowkey vibers, some of which seem quite personal to me at times. After first hearing about Leon Thomas from the MUTT remix with Freddie Gibbs I was thoroughly ... read more
Randomly found this project & came out of this listen thoroughly impressed & what Rory was able to accomplish with all of these artists. Its a compilation type album, DJ Khaled vibe, but way better than any Khaled project by miles. I'm a sucker for some chill r&b vibers & this did not disappoint.
Straight bangs, I’ve listened to most of these songs before but never listened to the project in its entirety & it slaps. Key Glock does what he does best; murders these trap beats by himself.
All caught up with ASAP reviews, now he needs to release DONT BE DUMB (Im delusional). This is undeniably ASAP Rocky's worst project but it is no where near bad at any means, its a weird blend of a mix of genres & not just hip-hop & sometimes it works & other times not so much. He put some black magic noise fuckery into this project but it sounds good for the most part, its different than ASAP's previews works thats for sure but I'm still a fan.
Slap certified. Clams Casino on the production, can't go wrong with that.
My most replayed ASAP Rocky project which still holds strong 10 years later. This project is everything you would want as a fan from the features to the production to ASAP's rapping its all comes together perfectly.
Finally got around to rating/reviewing this record, I've heard this project in its entirety multiple times & I believe its an ASAP Rocky classic just like his other older projects.
Slap certified banger. Alchemist production + Domo Genesis & guests come together to make a fabulous work of art that should be more popular than it is because this album is flat out fantastic. The guest appearances also add so much depth to this record showcasing the abilities of everyone involved, & of course, the Alchemist production which will always be timeless.
Just some overall solid Conway baps, can't beat Conway in his prime.
Probably Conways best record, not a lot is beating this. Conway does what he does best.
It's cool, Its definitely one of the Conway albums of all time.
Okay I guess there is a long string of Conway projects I listened to yet never rated/reviewed & this is one of them. This is some solid stuff, short, sweet, & to the point, exactly what Conway is good at.
Not sure why I never reviewed this even though I listened to this years ago. As for the project, its that classic Griselda type, vibes emmaculate, bars cold, you know the drill. Solid Conway project before his dip in quality as of recent.
