immersive, evocative, and powerful, really enjoying it after only 2 listens (there will be more)
it's fine but nothing new, dreams is probably the best track
no cohesion, bad dubstep, cringe samples including moans as percussion, and lacklustre vocals. there's a few piratestep classics but there's a lot of stinkers e.g. phoenix, scary-o, crazy, fuck riddim.
simply put this is good colour bass with album length and consistent theming. very nice maybe i will write more later
enjoyable, my favourites are 90 seconds to midnight and the american machine. perhaps not quite as good as their first album
interesting and a pleasant listen but a little lost on me, much as i like dnb the tracks breeze past way too quickly
it's good hyperpop but doesn't quite live up to the hype for me. all around solid project, well-produced without doing anything new, some meaningful lyrics in places, but lacking the impact of other electropop projects i've heard. fav tracks: music, the peace, do it
decent but doesn't quite do it for me; feels a little hollow. still an enjoyable listen though.
lyrics are unapologetically hedonistic and delivered well. instrumentally it's not groundbreaking for the scene but it is consistently good quality, some bangers here for sure. overall it meshes well into a varied and catchy collection of tracks. some stand above the rest for me though - best tracks: beat up chanel$, yes goddd, $t. loser, crank.
chill vibe, not my genre but i enjoyed it. the last track got me lmao. sounds clean
measured and impactful, i enjoyed it, though a little slower than my usual tastes. no excuses was my favourite but i liked the first three tracks too
one of sharks' better eps, some great sound design and execution here, although it's still a tiny bit hit or miss.
ichor is standard fare for sharks; decent enough. sleepwalker is really good. paradigm is interesting but a little too broken up for even my tastes. not a fan of the sample on spellcaster but it's otherwise pretty good. burn under my skin sounds really full, i like it.
Brilliant theming, precise and effective sound design, short and snappy. One of the best modern dubstep projects of all time, and a standout for 2020.
The drops are well-crafted, each unique and interesting, and powerful without being overproduced. There's also fantastic atmosphere with an interesting palette outside of the drops.
I like that this excellent theme and sound palette weren't diluted into a full-length album - it hits and then it's done and it's all the more ... read more
