Yea so this might be the craziest album experience of all time. The only way I can think of describing this experience is just a movie. This sounds like a group of rag tag friends who are flying through space forced to make this random ass album to save their lives but they all somehow got gifted some of the greatest musical gifts of all time. Why is it so hit or miss I swear every song is either life changing or actually just makes me upset that I have to get through it, the peaks are incredible though and it really has a better album flow than sound of silver with much less duds.
I guess not really for me, I had a lot of hope going into it with the first track but imo it just never really delivered nearly as much as I thought it was. The vocals were a big weak point where it never really got the potential that I thought it could really do. A lot of it just seemed like it was trying to mix different genres to just see what sticks and nothing really stuck. I liked Alvin row a bit (duh) but besides that nothing else really stood out to me
Really fun the whole time with some impressive highlights, some songs drag on a little but none of the concepts are ever bad imo. Pretty constant floating throughout this whole thing
