It is what it is. Kid Cudi goes and gets a bag and in return makes commercial music. Some good psychedelic bops here like Maybe So but this is Cudi’s worst project since Speeding Bullet.

No clue what muse is or what they’re even trying to be in 2022. This album has some of the worst shit muse has ever released but it also has some fire metal tracks. Maybe Muse needs to go in a heavier directions.

Completely uninspired effort from Phoenix. Their synth stuff is really bad and they probably don’t need to be making synth pop. Artefact is really good tho.

This is bad. I feel bad because I really like Snot and think he has a bright future but this is so disjointed and rough. You can tell he tried. He wanted to do a lot of different things but he just wasn’t able to do much of it effectively.

Some of this is cool but what exactly are all these songs building to? I hear good strings and decent chords and then they all just tend to die out.

Cordae doubles down on all the mistakes he’s made in his previous work and it results in a stale, unconvincing dud of an album.

Massive step down from Mitski. Be The Cowboy is one of my favorite albums ever and this is a far cry from it. The new style she’s trying is okay but it’s limiting her vocally.

The first album from KGLW I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. This stuff is impressive but I just don’t connect with this version of their jazz music.

Some great shit off here but this is kind of a throwaway album from WSG. Definitely not his best effort but stuff like Danhausen is legit.

Lots of hits, lots of misses. Trip, Nobody Else, and Bliss are some of Lean’s best but it’s not enough to make up for the remaining duds.

Some nice dreamy tracks here but this is kind of forgettable for the most part.
