Not as good as channel orange and blonde, but if it’s frank he won’t fail to deliver.
Some people say this is like a 50 or below, either they can’t see past the beef, or they were expecting usual Kendrick quality. A good project, but compared to Mr Morale, DAMN, TPAB, and GKMC, this can’t hold a candle to those, but there is lots of good stuff on here, aside from the title track, too 5 worst Kendrick songs ever.
Bro tried to redo Without Warning by himself and didn’t get there, the stuff here is mostly bland but I do appreciate the spots such as songs like Free Pick and the title track, but we did not need this, after a good project like Kiari, this was an unexpected let down.
Gospel pop rap perfected, such a shame chance fell off, I really hope he comes back and give us more greatness like this, happy 10 years of coloring book.
Superman is one of the greatest songs ever made. It’s kinda corny when you think about it but it’s so nostalgic I listened to this when I was little in like a tv show or something.
It’s like Thundercat but different, and I really like it. On Thundercat’s level though? No. But anything like Thundercat is really good.
So refreshing to see chance back, the world needs more Chance and that’s what he gave us. There are great highs here, but the album lacks so much in some places and is so bland, but a great comeback.
Really high highs on here like Grindin, Virginia, and When The Last Time. But there are very bland tracks on here for how good and aggressive Pusha T and Malice’s deliveries are. Maybe they were just too early in to their career to hone that skill, but a very good debut nonetheless.
If bro actually had good gear to work with he’d be the greatest cloud rap artist ever.
This is up there for best Alchemist produced album with stuff like the 2 Alfredo’s. One of the most stacked feature lists ever. Domo Genesis has incredible consistency, this is easily top 10 mixtapes ever.
