Seeing the cover and then seeing the genre as Memphis rap was quite a strange sight to see. Pretty decent though
A$AP Rocky is an all time goat, and this is his best album, maybe a tiny bit of bloat keeps it from being a 100, but man the diversity and quality on all the songs is so freaking incredible.
Favorites—Wavybone, Back Home, Holy Ghost
Holy peak, one of the greater instrumental albums I’ve ever listened to, amazing atmospheric cloud rap, on par with clams casino stuff.
It’s ok, a bit too dark for my personal taste, but it’s still such good production.
After morning view Incubus lowk fell off, but that doesn’t matter because their 3 album run from science to morning view was so generational. Light Grenades was their last cry for air in terms of quality and popularity I guess. It has hits like Dig and Anna Molly, but I think this was the end of prime incubus.
Rage is kinda heating up? Idk with Rest in Bass, this and even Psykotic(that ones kinda mid tho), it sure seems that way.
It’s just incredibly mid aside from Smuckers. (Actually there are a few other good ones on here and some overall it’s decent but it’s just not too exciting)
Definitely full of emotion and hungry energy, but I don’t like much of this project, there are definitely great highs, but a few good songs does not make it a really good album.
SGP best album? I think so, definitely space-like, which is my favorite type of music, anything spacey and psychedelic will most likely be good.
That’s gotta be fantano’s worst take of all time, saying zuu blows his previous projects out of the water.
Truly showed how great Lil Wayne could be and the potential he had, but he was still very raw and lots of it felt a bit unfinished and undeveloped.
Initially I didn’t think this was that bad. I liked songs like hip hop, cotton candy, and welcome to Tha Carter, but now I see lack of quality and lazy bars and overall garbage Wayne stuffed in here, I hope this isn’t the end for the Tha Carter series, cause I wouldn’t want it to end like this. But in this shape idk if Wayne should.
This is the textbook definition of a great niche underground hip hop album.
So incredibly diverse and polished for a debut. Fiona Apple has one of the most consistent discography’s out there.
This is top 3 rap albums from 2025, it goes LGSEO, GDLU, and then sankofa. The jazzy melodic approach here paired with redveil’s beautiful voice… Absolutely amazing, it sounded like a mix of modern Tyler mixed with McKinley Dixon, and it sounds so incredibly good.He blends jazz, hip hop, R&B, and even some rock elements in to create an immersive, vulnerable, and deeply personal album. redveil is up with people like Kenny Mason and Baby Keem for next up, absolutely amazing ... read more
IMO gunna best album, although it’s not great. His rapping and flows are monotonous and the album is a bit bloated. What makes it good is the production, it’s fluid and smooth trap, that makes it seem watery and aquatic that makes for a decent experience.
