Another masterclass in production from Daringer, good verses from Conway and all the features

One of Big K.R.I.T.’s weaker projects, but it has Rhode Clean on it so it’s pretty decent, but bro definitely could’ve done better here.

I’ve never really known who Benny the Butcher was, I’d heard of him, but that’s it. After listening to this, I think he might already be one of my favorite rappers, this album is so insanely good, the production is dark and gloomy over nice boom bap drums from Daringer and others. The flows Benny has throughout this is mind blowing, incredible consistency great features, amazing, just amazing.

Ktown is one of the biggest forces in the underground rap scene, this is my favorite album of his and there is a lot of good stuff here, 82.

A worthy successor to the first cuban linx, this one has more modern touch to it, but I will say is worse than the first, still incredibly good for Raekwon in 2009.

Idk what I just listened to, ig blame me for going in expecting girl-like modern Kanye, but this is straight weird to me, it’s like wanting to be hardcore metal, wanting to be emo anime pop stuff, wanting to be ratchet hip-hop. I already am not the biggest Eminem fan, but this is straight trash, I wasted good time in my day to listen to absolute garbage. I never want to listen to anything this bad again.

Isaiah Rashad brings the TDE sound from the 2010’s back that we all love and need. It’s Been Awful did not disappoint in terms of quality. The production is there, my only gripe about this album is how bland some songs sound with basic beats and Zay mumbling and groaning for about 30 seconds straight. Another great release for already the most stacked year of the 2020’s.

Favorites- Same Sh!t, Happy Hour, Nuthin 2 Hide, and 719 Freestyle

Why is it so good was expecting straight coworker music with the cover but it’s actually so fire, this is one of those don’t judge a book by its cover albums.

Good start for one of the best hip hop groups ever

On the first RTJ, they were testing things out, and did a fantastic job. That helped them create this and sharpen their vicious and aggressive sound. They really want to take what’s theirs and they did. They took the spot for best album of 2014 and they knew it was theirs.

A spooky Halloween album that details the haunting tales of the streets with great production and great performances, it’s one of the best collab albums of its era.

The chemistry that the two show on this is really good. I mean they are uncle and nephew, and you can see that rapping is in their blood, because they both did good lyrically. Only downside is how repetitive the album feels at points and monotonous, as well as some lowlight tracks, but it is still good. RIP Takeoff

Some people say this is better than liquid swords, I don’t think so, but it is in the conversation so you immediately know it’s really good. Raekwon has a plethora of features in the modern day, and this album certified his career as a solo artist to help him do so.

I found this album from bossalinis and fooliyones 2 and this is one of the best pop projects I’ve heard in a while, very cool to find.

I do think people overrate this album a lot but it still has great stuff on it like BMT and Sirens.(those are my 2 favorite)
