Why did bro do this, listen to big girl and you will lose a bit of happiness inside.
Would it be trash or good if Biggie did rock, if this is what it would sound like it would be trash
No song is weak here, absolutely impeccable work. YTIAWADBIFLAM is such an iconic song, probably bc of Bad Company 2. QOTSA’s magnum opus.
MF Doom’s alias’ and characters always make for the best storytelling and brings out the best in his projects. RIP Bro an absolute legend.
I Love This Album
Better than most of his other albums. This is most likely going to go down as a trash rating, but I don’t get how people don’t appreciate the vulnerability of this album, they just see it as weakness, the songs are partly unfinished and raw to show the raw emotion that Cudi was pouring into his music. Grunge is one of my favorite genres and I think Kid Cudi executed it when he needed it. He was alone, angry, and almost soulless. He blended the soul he had into ... read more
Okay so like some other people I’ve seen review this I was a bit dismissive when I saw this, I gave it a “listen” I guess, but wasn’t really paying too much attention, but I recently listened to it again and man I love the messages put into this album and all the songs in it. Funky as heck. Also psychedelic as heck, a perfect blend of the 2, not dated despite it being from the 70’s an amazing work of art.
Rest in peace.
Every verse is thoughtful and has a lot of care in it.
Probably the biggest hip hop tragedy of the 2010’s that we never got to see him reach his full potential, but he gave us this so I guess I can be happy.
Seeing the cover and then seeing the genre as Memphis rap was quite a strange sight to see. Pretty decent though
A$AP Rocky is an all time goat, and this is his best album, maybe a tiny bit of bloat keeps it from being a 100, but man the diversity and quality on all the songs is so freaking incredible.
Favorites—Wavybone, Back Home, Holy Ghost
Holy peak, one of the greater instrumental albums I’ve ever listened to, amazing atmospheric cloud rap, on par with clams casino stuff.
It’s ok, a bit too dark for my personal taste, but it’s still such good production.
