“the sky before you, the dark right behind, and in a big city you can start over”
although this album is a nice little listen, it just isn’t really my cup of tea. There are a couple of reeeally lovely tracks sprinkled throughout, but aside from that it struggled to keep my attention or stick out in any particular way.

It was a lot easier to listen to music like this in the era of my life when I was mostly free to be unapologetically cringe about my interests, however bland or lacking nuance they may be. I cared a lot less about the depth of lyrics or the complexity or instrumentals back then.
