Crosby, Stills & Nash - Crosby, Stills & Nash
95

One of the most beautiful albums ever made. Easily in my top ten. Never gets old. I adore it.

St. Vincent - St. Vincent
87

OH MY GOODNESS, every time. Her music has gone through such a graceful evolution since her first album. Few artists can do this whilst still maintaining originality AND staying true to their sound. You go, Annie Clark, you go girl.

The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet
100

1968 to 1972 was the Stones' artistic peak, and this album started it all. After a less than stellar attempt to make their own Sgt. Pepper with "Their Satanic Majesties Request", the Stones needed to get back to what they do best. This is it. Of course "Sympathy for the devil" is the best known track, but this album is loaded with classics "Street fighting man"...

DJ Shadow - Endtroducing.....
98

To say that this album is underrated is an understatement. I'm an avid music lover of all genres, this is one of my favorite albums of time and in my opinion one of the greatest albums of the 90's.

Panda Bear - Person Pitch
84

Get Comfy in Nautica and listen to Panda.

Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 2
87

If you listen to this album at home make sure you have everything in a safe place. Anything that you value put it in a box. This album will make you want to do karate, it will increase hormone levels at 83% minimum. If you listen to this in a car make sure you have a full tank of gas because you will want to drive fast to give the cops a reason to chase you just so you can drive even faster.

Madvillain - Madvillainy
96

The best hip hop album ever recorded as far as I'm concerned. True underground, creative, artistic, hip hop.

The Beatles - Help!
96

I freaking love The Beatles!

Kanye West - Late Registration
94

For the last couple years, rap has become very anemic, the same rappers saying the same thing talking about how much ice they have and how many groupies they have scored with. Yawn. Then along came a guy with a backpack and a teddy bear mascot with the vibe of A Tribe Called Quest, by his own admission, and clever wordplay that rivals the Beastie Boys in their prime.

David Bowie - ★ [Blackstar]
86

Having listened to this alum on release day, and now listening to it while crying and mourning the loss of a brilliant man. I have fallen even more in love with this album. A few lines, pieces here and there, just seem to make more sense. A wonderful finale, bravo David.

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell
89

Sufjan is not "back" because he never left. "Age of Adz" was his most personal album to date, and it was pure Sufjan from start to finish. The electronic sounds symbolize creation and movement, a person coming into being but in a mechanized sort of way.

Nas - Illmatic
93

This album is a hip-hop classic.

The Avalanches - Since I Left You
87

The Avalanches debut and current only LP is extraordinary. This album is not for one group of music listeners, but for lovers of music.

98

Love this album not a bad one in the bunch. We all have this album. Love it! Peace!

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
84

For those who haven't heard the album stream yet, I fully recommend it. Now, here's my opinion about this album, so please refrain from any destructive criticism. Track 8, Get Lucky, feat. Pharrell Williams, I love this song. The bass and Nile's riffs make this such a smooth groove, and the album version is so much more incredible than the radio edit, in my opinion. Hard to get tired of this song.

David Bowie - Station to Station
96

This album is really remarkable. I often overlooked it for other Bowie greats, Ziggy, Low, Heroes, ...etc., but, this album is not to be dismissed. It has aged into something much greater than it may have seemed to be during its early days. The opening track, Station to Station, is a masterpiece.

my bloody valentine - Isn't Anything
98

Way back before an internet beaming 2-4-7, before the coined terms multiplying underground music, there was Husker Du. And much like Sonic Youth I wasn't prepared for songwriting to take a blistering sheet metal turn to rhythmic tantrums. I fell quick and deep for it. When Husker Du went away I was long crashing with The Jesus and Mary Chain.

81

Frank Ocean really just shocked me with this song. Song of the year.

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
83

Arcade Fire's debut album, Funeral, is an album hard to surpass. However, I think this lush, atmospheric album may have succeeded in doing that. This album is gripping. It's a work that's hard to listen to in pieces. Track 2 "Keep the Car Running" is a much more upbeat song, probably the most upbeat one on the album.

Massive Attack - Blue Lines
99

This alum is in my opinion one of the greatest ever made. Timeless and stunning.
