In a music world filled with songs about doom and gloom, I'm glad to have found a rare entirely happy album.
"Goodbye, My Four-Track" is the 2003 final effort by geek rock musician Logan Whitehurst, under the name Logan Whitehurst & The Junior Science Club
It's often seen as his most complete and cohesive release, and also from what I've seen by a longshot his most praised.
This album has been hailed in the geek-rock and comedy music scene since it's ... read more
this is my second listen from Willy Rodriguez, after i listened to their legendary final album "wetdream" maybe about a month ago now, that album is one of the best things I've ever heard and an easy perfect 10, so i was excited to see what their earlier stuff was like.
This is a really fun little EP! it goes for a more poppy sound, which surprisingly to me goes really well with the distortion filled sound this band has. all six of these are really catchy and quick songs.

really really cool mix of chiptune and hyperpop!
reminds me of underscores and maybe even Anamanaguchi in parts (:
the fake stutter the narrator does something to make me feel a sharp pain directly in my soul
and what in all hell is a pack rat lmao
the more well known pac man kids stuff album at least charming. this is genuinely just painful
much better than i was expecting. falls off a little in the last few tracks but even those ones aren't bad at all.
one of, if not the best game soundtracks of all time. It's really weird listening to an album for the first time while hearing many of the songs HUNDREDS of times before.
Genuinely really good instrumental ambient here, looking past the huge franchise it's for, the melodies sound so cohesive but also never are too similar to the point that they are boring, insanely well done, I hope to one day be able to do stuff like this lmao.
I'd feel bad giving this any other rating. a ... read more
actually a pretty fun comedy song that goes from writing a song to stealing every persons dad.
it lives up to it's name.
recently got in a gathering to watch this and two other weird fever dream movies with some friends.. due to this, the highlight of my week was the goddamn postman pat movie of all things.
also this is missing so many tracks WHERE IS IM A HAPPY POSTMAN I NEED IT AGHGHGHGHAHGHH
lesson of the day: hate speeding tickets and have a bunch of guns.
this was incredible though.
maybe the best music video ever made? such a cool effect.
well deserving of the highest rated video. although the song itself is butchered by the radio edit lol.
i listened to this just as a joke and i turned it off after track three lmao. you have to TRY to make something this bad
I've had this album on vinyl for a while now and i decided to give it a go
this is the second ever album by legendary Australian group King Gizzard. after their mainly garage/surfer rock debut, "12 Bar Bruise", what direction would the band go in?.. well, a spaghetti western audiobook album of course! because why the hell not.
this is actually a lot better then i hear a lot of people say, it was a pretty interesting story and had some really cool and even sometimes experimental ... read more
this was really good. some nice slowcore music. i really wish we got to him go to his full potential before he left us
rest in piece, kai
this is not Minecraft. its a minute of white noise. that's it.
not was i was expecting. but the noise was cool, i guess?..
wow
this is NOT my thing.
this guys voice is really grating and the beat is EXTREMELY basic
