One thing that makes IDK remarkable (especially on this mixtape) is how he manages to be really good on several different aspects of several different styles, that guy can flow on a pop rap beat and then make a collab with MF Doom for example
Bonne énergie tout le long de l'album, Noir Désir continuait de définir son style comme pour Rendez L'âme
Un style un peu plus brutal, je trouve que Noir Désir a fait beaucoup mieux mais ça reste un bon projet
Great album, I think this is really the project where J-Cole stopped being basic and kind of put the bar higher in terms of songwriting, production, rapping, and overall quality, there's a few tracks that I'd qualify unnecessary though
Everybody is shaking their head while hearing this album, heavy riffs, great performers, brutal vocals, that everything I want in a Heavy metal album
Never really heard anything like this before (I'm new into jazz) but ohhhhh it's so great, I genuinely slept on this (and jazz in general for too long), I thought it was super boring and repetitive when I was younger, I was so wrong bruh, Psalm particularly is easily one of the most mindblowing songs I've ever heard
Same vibes, style and features than his debut, I guess Nujabes didn't need to change anything afterall
You got the thing bro, now find rappers I guess, in fact I don't really know what to write this is consistent and cohesive, I just hope you're gonna keep that level of quality in the future
The highs are great and we see their particular style defining itself, but there's a huge lack of inspiration on some tracks also, they litterally re-used the same riff on at least 3 or 4 songs
Might be one of the weirdest albums I've heard, but the vibes are definitely here, these guys are crazy performers and songwriters who want to sound out of tune, but still sound great, and they do well: that's the charm of the album
So underrated of a project, both Shing02 and Jack the Rip deliver a great work through this, the intro track is probably my favorite Shing02 song
Great album, it's nice to see that these guys still got it after more than 30 years of career
Easily the best Dire Straits project, they're all talented musicians even if Mark Knopfler does make the band sound more unique than the other members do
There are a few bangers but most of the tracks are just ok, it's enjoyable but there's some lack of quality here and there that lower down the rating
