Such a tight track list, its all psychedelic bliss and no filler. The only bad thing about this album is that this duo is never happening again lol. Like, yesus christ, ye.
Single handedly made peggy one of my favorite artists. If you know you just know, and if you dont then im sorry but were not gonna work.
Havent listened to it for a while, but i remember it being like an 8-9 for me. Its alright and pad thai are songs i straight up dont vibe to but everything else is still so fun and surreal, and some peak Jack Stauber is on here. Love this.
Fuck it. A 10/10. Wasnt sure of it at first, but this album is so special and nostalgic for me, and its weirdness and playfulness its something I aspire to if i ever create something of my own. I love this album and i love Jack Stauber.
Some people say its bloated, and it can feel inconsistent at times. But like, only three songs here are a skip for me. Everything else is some of the most energetic and fun RH tracks of their entire discography. The songs post the gloaming are what im gonna be screaming at the top of my lungs in a RH concert while I hand Thom Yorke the papers of my house and the ones to adopt me.
Never got around the hype around this one, im sorry chat :(. It feels incomplete, like it wasnt supposed to be an album. Pyramid song and knives out are the best ones, obviously, but this morning bell version and life in a glasshouse are pretty damn good too. I just never go back for a full re-listen of it. Pretty meh :/.
Pulk/pull revolving doors is GOATED THO BEST RH SONG SINCE CREEP BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEE
On par with Radiohead's other classics. Its sadposting hour booooooooooooiiiii.
I honestly like the liveliness and natural feeling of OKC and IR more than the coldness and roboticness of Kid A, i dont return as often to this. BUT BOY is this still such an amazing album. Deserves its classic status.
EDIT:
Actually, ive changed my mind, this is S tier RH as well. How to dissapear completely is the only song that ive ugly-cried to.
If only I clicked more with Lucky and Tourist, this would be a 100 for me. But it doesnt matter. Several of my favorite songs of all time are on this. Its incredible how an album can live to a hype THIS large, having the title of one of the "best albums of all time" would be too heavy for most music, and while i dont think any album can be the definitive best of all time, this one sticks the landing. This album blew my mind and was what got me more into music, and made me discover not ... read more
