The first half of this record is quite good actually. Solid dance/electro pop. The first three tracks are my favorites, especially the first
The second half sucks (besides star baby)
Show Me That You Festive might be contender for worst song to come out this year so far for me
It's not for me, that's all I can really say about it. I just don't really understand a lot of the appeal because it just seems to be... eh? i mean, it sounds good, but i don't see the "brilliance" that some of these critics and users are seeing
great production, good rapping, good stuff ken! anyways wtf is happening to opium
EDIT: 80->99 bc why not
EDIT 2: 99->90 settle down settle down
borrrriiinnngg
Should've said no is great, rest is pretty bad and at best mid/little bit good. overall, a bit worse than mid
My dad is a Dylan superfan so I asked him what his favorite Dylan record is. Surprisingly, it was one I had never heard of before, called Planet Waves. And overall, this is solid, but I think I am going to like more Dylan records a lot more
It's a great, dare I say perfect song and all but what do you mean by pretty YOUNG thing π€¨
Happy Valentine's Day!
This is the least romantic record ever
The year was 1995. November 14th. 10 P.M.
I was a 24 year old aspiring comedian working in a small town in Eastern Pennsylvania. I had a few sets here and there, but not enough to make a career out of it. I would perform at local bars and chain establishments with little success and very little profit. To sustain myself, I used my Computer Science degree from Penn State to work the most sophisticated of jobs: a McDonald's Cashier. In my very little free time I was constantly writing jokes in ... read more
Lil Yachty made a better rock album than Paramore wtf
Anyways this is great I loved most of the songs and the length was perfect and yeah i loved it. I prefer After Laughter but I could see this growing on me
EDIT: 89->80 I don't really come back to this besides the first two songs
MF DOOM's production on the finest display
A bit better than Herbs 4 I really enjoyed almost every song here. One thing I liked is that it didn't drag on too much, similar to how other special herbs projects would. Instead, this felt cohesive. I have one more Herbs project to listen to then Herbs + Spices, and I'll see if this can be outdone.
MF DOOM is an amazing producer, don't get me wrong. But sometimes, his beats fall semi-flat. They are good, but there are better.
However, Coffin Nails is Coffin Nails.
My least favorite in the series so far but still more good than bad.
This album is weird to me for a variety of reasons but for some reason it almost moved me. I feel changed after listening yet at the same time I feel calm, quiet, and slightly pleased. Despite this being an incredibly produced record with some of the best electronic music I've heard in quite some time, a few things stick out to me.
1. The backstory. Yes I get it "Separate Art from the Artist" but c'mon. This project was released in two stores and was given out with either a purchase ... read more
A part of me wants "Ain't no next life so now i'm tryna live my best life" to be my senior quote
goated song
Much much MUUUUCH better than Hi this is flume (in my opinion). Great album, great production, look forward to hearing more flume.
hmmmmmmmmmm idk about this one
it's DOOM so obviously it's a good record. However, the other collab with CZARFACE is much better, and the second half of this record is 2x worse than the first half.
RIP DOOM though
Hmmmmmm... I Don't know what to think
It took a while for me to review this considering my opinions on every song changes constantly. however, it seems that at every given point in time I had 2 songs I liked and 1 I didn't like. I will always love Baseline. I didn't at first, but my opinion changed for the better. Witit and Shouldn't Of change all the time.
Tracklist includes instrumentals which are all mediocre but the lyrics are much better and make every song worth a listen. Baseline ... read more
I think I could write a 10-page long essay going into this song, the amazing beat, incredible lyricism, influence, and everything that makes this a contender for the greatest East Coast Hip Hop song ever
