It's a great project, but stands out to me as great due to the fact it's extremely consistent. more consistent than most records i've ever heard. but, it's consistently good-great, and not absolutely outstanding
Glorilla has such a good cadence that I can't help but smile when I hear this song. It's the perfect length and has both bars and humor. But the thing that makes me love it is the energy in it. You really feel the happiness, through her bars, the single cover, and the backup vocals. Yeah I don't get the hate for this song. Also I love the beat.
With the exception of Beef FloMix, every beat on this project is wacky and not good. This production is terrible (again, minus Beef FloMix. The Beef beat is probably one of my favorite hip hop beats of all time.) But it is so weird for that to be next some imo atrocious beats (Seen especially on May I and Not Friendly). But I still enjoyed that project, and it's for one reason.

So um... I wasn't the biggest fan of it but looking at the low low reviews I don't think it is that bad. Like I get the appeal of it, it just might not be for me.
That being said, I still listened to it and want to give my opinion. And what is my verdict?
The score might be low, but I understand how this might appeal to people. Unfortunately, it doesn't appeal to me.

I can appreciate Gayle for the two serious songs, 15 and ALEX, placed here because the lyrics are good. That's where the positives end. At the very least this EP is semi-listenable. I did not enjoy the volume one of this series but I was hoping for GAYLE to maybe improve and make a better EP. Well hopes don't always work out, because this is worse than v1 in my opinion.
