guys this is so much more than what you’re giving it credit for… it’s not just a LCD Soundsystem rip-off!…
it’s also a rip-off of The Rapture, Daft Punk, The Virgins, Soulwax and even Justice on the final song!
People really slept on this album last year. Nice to have some more Gemmy Juice during the height of summer.
This sounds like what all my favourite memories of listening to electronic music FEEL like.
I think accepting months ago that SMILE! :D was never going to hit me the same way Nurture did actually allowed myself to fully appreciate how much it gets right purely on its own merits. This is a fantastic and addictive pop album that hits on a lot of cultural touchstones that for better or worse I am more than familiar with.
In 2017 A24 released Good Time.
In 2024 A24 released this… a BAD time!
*loudest laughter and longest applause you’ve ever heard*
Fixes the issue I had with Lei Line Eon (it didn’t go HARD enough) and keeps the cool world-building.
Tidal Memory Exo sets the bar for electronic music in 2024 and for Iglooghost as an artist.
Yeah.. it's good.. but it's not Cross good... and if you think it is: go back and actually listen to Cross properly you fucking idiot.

My rules on hating pastiche completely fly out of the window when it’s this good. Literally perfect pop music.
I’m too old to be having another year of drain gang dominating my Spotify wrapped.. but here we are again (again) ((again))
I swear if you played Fetch The Bolt Cutters to Swifties it would be like the scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey where the gorillas discover the monolith.
White billionaires can’t be tortured (unfortunately) and they can’t be good poets.
Arthritis be damned this senile old lady can still rock out with best of them.
I feel like the people slating (being filtered by) this are simply not playing it loud enough. I don’t mean on your headphones (no matter how good they are) I’m talking about a hi-fi with decent speakers cranked up so this album consumes the room and everything in it. The Collective fucking rules and I’m on the right side of history here. When Kim Gordon dies of old age (any minute now) I suspect ... read more
100 years gulag Mr. Palomo, for releasing a record this tropical in the middle of September. It’s cold outside and the leaves are turning, what use is this to me now?! I waited 8 years for this album!
