(I’m not counting Holy Mountain, I’m just talking about the main 63 minute song btw)
Part 1
The track opens with some morphing fuzzed-out guitars playing low rumbling notes. Some trilling variations but it’s amazing how great doom metal and stoner rock bands can just make one goddamn so ferocious and heavy, even before things start. Some drums start to come in, and they are booming and it’s great. The extremely minimalistic riff just hits so hard with the drums that just ... read more
Mitski? More like MIDski!!!
This album is honestly imo incredibly overrated. I always never was a fan of mitski, she always felt like a blended copy of Bjork and Lana Del Ray which always came out to be an absolute SNOOZE FEST. She tries so many genres that are all very similiar to the main genres of art pop or indie pop/rock and they always come out SO GODDAMN BLAND, it's crazy.
Even famous mitski songs like Your Best American Girl and even songs off here like Washing Machine Heart and ... read more
The most worthless, horrible, unpolished, dried-up piece of actual garbage any mainstream rapper, singer-songwriter, or musical artist could ever fuckin make. I believe that in the past 3 or 4 years, Kanye West is just spiraling out of control, this man is seriously starting to actually need to be in a mental asylum for the horrible music he makes, there should come a point, maybe when he's 50, maybe even now, that someone like a fuckin medical aid needs to step in and force him to stop ... read more
Track 1 Multi-Gravity-1
Frantic noises of synths and basses and noise machines immediately fill the ear, all sorts of sounds, types of feedback and interesting sound devices flutter and glitter in place and ring about all over the place in incredibly unique and interesting ways, create chords and tiny bits, some synths with feedback sometimes even creating their own melodies, synth oscillators making cascading arpeggios flow and ebb through the listeners ears while different bits of feedback ... read more
For a debut, an incredibly interesting and unique set of incredibly complicated flows and maximalist lyrical poetry all across a decent debut album. No matter how many projects I've listened to from Aesop, I'll always be incredibly impressed and proud of Aesop's incredible vocabulary, his perfectly wondrous flows blending with his maximalist and vocabularic lyricism that really just makes you realize that you're just listening to an incredibly underrated lyrical genius. ... read more

yes, incredibly one dimensional
words to describe this album include:
useless, boring, stupid, annoying, one-dimensional, bullshit, worthless, horrible, dogshit, bottom-of-the-barrel
this seriously cannot be some sort of inside joke, from the blatantly unintelligible mumbling to the boring twinkly production across the entire record, this album really tries to make forward thinking sounds and music but you can't fucking call this shit music, this is complete bullshit, and it really ... read more
Listened to this a while ago, seriously one of the most underrated and classic hip-hop albums of all time. Aesop Rock's mindbogglingly incredible vocabulary shows in one of the most entertaining and competent ways on this album, the lyrics are in my opinion some of the best in lyrical hip-hop, and hip-hop and rap music in general! Man are the lyrics good on this one! Also the production, classic dirty and gritty boom-bap beats with the best, most catchy basslines ever! This is easily Aesop ... read more
Okay, in my original review I didn't say enough, my true opinion on how dogshit this fucking album is.
Earlier this year, newly prominent popstar Charli XCX released her studio album 'brat' which garnered massive attention in the online music reviewing world as fantano gave it a 10/10 and brad gave it a 9/10, as well as almost everyone who I follow on AOTY changing their pfps to their name but in the font and background of the infamously simplistic cover for brat.
Do you ever ... read more
I have a vaporwave playlist currently possessing almost 400 vaporwave songs, every song in order from a bunch of vaporwave albums, and this is the first album in the playlist. I am currently reading the entire Death Note Manga in the All-In-One Edition and I am currently on page 469, chapter 21, I read 4 chapters a day. But let me tell you, boy is this a perfect album to put on while reading, chilling and studying or plainly just listening to it without anything else. This album doesn't ... read more
really really mid
and also they use like the exact same cover for every one of their albums and singles (kinda like Fushitsusha but idc they're my favorite band of all time)
