I honestly don’t get why Rockstar sits at such a low average here. A lot of that feels less about the song itself and more about the long standing hate Nickelback gets as a band. Taken on its own terms, this track isn’t trying to be deep or serious, it’s clearly poking fun at the exaggerated rockstar lifestyle. And I’m not sure everyone actually engages with it on that level.
It’s catchy, easy to sing along to, and genuinely fun. It does exactly what it sets out ... read more
He’s super young, writes and produces everything himself, and that alone is impressive. The thing with new artists is that people online are so quick to label them “industry plant,” “generic,” or whatever, without actually giving them a fair chance. And that’s annoying, because in this case, sombr put together a pop record that works. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s done well, and you can already hear he has his own little touch in the ... read more
I’m a fan of Doechii. Her flow, her energy, and the way she blends ‘90s/2000s influences into modern rap is something really fresh in today’s scene. But Anxiety? It’s just… bad.
The biggest issue is the production. The song heavily lifts from Somebody That I Used to Know, but instead of creatively flipping the sample, it just sounds like a copy-paste instrumental with her vocals thrown on top. It doesn’t feel like a reinterpretation, it feels lazy, almost ... read more
This song is everything a holiday hit should be: fun, energetic, and completely infectious. It’s the kind of song that instantly lifts your mood with its upbeat vibe and catchy rhythm. While traditional Christmas songs have their place, there’s something so refreshing about a track like this, it keeps the festive spirit alive without feeling overly predictable.
Merry Christmas everybody!
Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" is a captivating piece of pop music that seamlessly blends vibrant production with raw, emotional lyricism. From the very first listen, the track impresses with its infectious energy and gripping vocal delivery. For many, including myself, it was an instant standout — one of those rare songs that grabs your attention immediately and compels you to listen again and again.
The production on "Good Luck, Babe!" is nothing short of ... read more
I guess I just don't like fun?? because this song is terrible af. wtf did I just listen to? I even tried twice to see if it would get any better, but it's bad in every possible way. I can't understand what's up with the score here on the site, but for me, it didn't work at all. It's unbearable, both parts, and the chorus is one of the most unpleasant things I've heard this year, sounds like a Meghan Trainor song. But lucky for them, 'Woman's ... read more
Bro, this is SOOOO good. The score works perfectly in the movie and on its own. There's nothing better than starting the day jamming to these bangers. It's been a while since I heard such a bold original score. Nothing to complain about, just gonna enjoy the hell out of it.
Based on the comments, I thought this would be a total flop, but it’s far from that. It’s not the most inventive album out there and, yeah, it’s dad rock, but it does its job well. Hotel California (song) is definitely the standout track. It’s impossible not to sing along to. The rest of the album isn’t on the same level, but it’s still an enjoyable ride, not much to complain about.
The first time I listened to this album, not much really affected me. Even though I know "channel ORANGE" by heart, I never bothered to revisit "Blonde" until now. "Blonde" is a journey inside Frank Ocean, inside his thoughts, his feelings, and his own experiences under the influence. Combined with a production that sets the tone of the album, sometimes heavily laden with synthesizers and auto tune, it creates its own atmosphere. I still prefer the debut, but it's ... read more
Few things are as exciting as listening to a new Billie album for the first time. It has everything that makes her a unique artist. Excellent production, great writing, and her familiar vocals are there but even better explored. Birds of a Feather is so beautiful, and it could be pretty ordinary in someone else's hands, which shows how special Billie is. It's a fun and touching album. I still prefer Happier Than Ever, but it would be hard to top that. Loved it.
So, I liked it. I think the biggest issue is that it seems to shoot in too many directions, which makes it feel more like a playlist than an album. I don't know much about Orville's music, and maybe this wasn't the best starting point for me, but it at least got me curious to know more about him. The songs are pretty nice, and aside from the random Elton John cover, I found it quite enjoyable.
I won't lie, this album fell a bit short of what I expect from Troye. It's not bad at all. It still has his personality and that personal touch, as always. But compared to the evolution he was showing, even in the EP, it kind of put a damper on my excitement. Maybe Rush set my expectations too high because that song is insanely good. Another standout is One of Your Girls, where Troye really captures the reality many gay men face when they want something they can't have (straight guys). The rest ... read more
In this album, Ryan has really stepped up his game. Calico is a beautifully melancholic gem with top notch songwriting. It's such a relief to hear something so well made and full of feeling. There's something so comforting about his sweet vocals. For those of us who were already fans, it's pure joy, proving that he's only going to keep getting better. Absolutely stunning.

In 'Born This Way', Lady Gaga was already on another level of success, consistently striving for a higher echelon. The album offers numerous thrilling moments and often operates at full throttle. However, compared to her previous albums, I felt it lacked some cohesion and subtlety, leaving me a bit drained after listening. The production is solid but occasionally feels heavy-handed, which can become tiresome in the long run. Still, it's a good pop album that showcases many of the artist's best ... read more
It's incredible how most of these songs got so overplayed. I think the most remarkable thing here is the artist's voice, which makes the work more palatable, especially for the moms & aunties.
A true magnum opus by the Foo Fighters. One of the main mistakes many bands make is sticking to the same sound that brought them to stardom without evolving. It doesn't mean losing your essence or ceasing to be rock, but rather understanding that you can create something new and refreshing while preserving what makes the band special. Foo Fighters got this right, and in 'Wasting Light', they maintained all the band's defining elements while bringing a more mature and current sound with sharp ... read more
It definitely hasn't aged well. Some songs have audio that's almost blown out. It's an album made for churning out radio singles and doesn't offer anything particularly interesting, except for one or two tracks. What elevates it is Rihanna's strong vocal personality, which makes it catchy enough to pique interest.

Orgasmo auditivo é o que define “The Suburbs”.
This album is truly a teenage dream. Katy delves deep into energetic pop, delivering multiple hits that still resonate well today. The artist was never particularly impressive in terms of lyrics, so I didn't dwell on that aspect too much. It also fits the theme of adolescent thoughts, sometimes over the top and silly. The title track is the definition of pop perfection, so much fun.
