It's better than I was expecting. Kim Petras must have skipped the classes on how to be an artist, and to this day, I haven't heard anything really impactful from her, so I was expecting the worst with "Feed the Beast". The title track is fun, and I managed to have a good time with a few tracks like "Revelations" and "Minute". There are some duds in the mix too, like "uhoh", "Coconuts", and "Sex Talk". It doesn't offer anything ... read more
Kylie Minogue's "Tension" had the same effect on me as her other albums usually do. I liked a song or two, but the rest didn't captivate me, it feels quite run-of-the-mill for the genre and for her. For fans, it's probably a treat, but for me, it's just whatever. And lastly, "Padam Padam" is terrible, and thankfully, the gays stopped pushing it.
Everything I hear from Tinashe feels like a solid 7. Her songs have competent production, they're engaging to a certain extent, and the artist oozes sensuality. It works well for her style, but it doesn't really grab my interest. I probably wouldn't listen to it again of my own accord.

"How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" serve para reafirmar algumas características do U2, tanto para o bem quanto para o mal.
It's a watered-down pop/R&B album that pretty much stays in the same lane. It feels longer than it actually is, and those over the top voice effects from Zayn can be distracting, making it a bit tiring. And seriously, who thought those wEiRdLy spelled song titles were a good idea?
Blur delivers the epitome of Britpop with "Parklife". It's an album that, while psychedelic, dives headfirst into lively synthpop. All of this is done meticulously, full of energy, emotion, and heaps of personality. It's a modern masterpiece for its time and has aged like fine wine. Blur is a band that never settled and always delivered works that stood out from one another, progressively gaining a mature and distinctive sound. Nonetheless, "Parklife" is the best in my book.
"Raven" is pretty interesting. I dig the minimalist vibe, even with all these production elements going on, creating a cool atmosphere. However, the album keeps going down this path that got a bit repetitive with those downtempo/ambient pop beats. When the album ended, it left a good impression, but I wouldn't come back for this journey.

Cumpre bem seu ... read more
"Cuts & Bruises" delivered a pretty decent musical ride, although it didn't quite stick in my memory. The production is solid, and the lyrics don't make you cringe, so it's a pleasant journey overall. Yet, as the tracks roll on, there's a certain something missing that should grab you and make a lasting mark. Maybe "uninspiring" is the word, it lacks that special spark.
Some songs work better within the context of the movie, like Lizzo's "Pink". One word that could sum up this album is 'colorful'. There's so much information and such frenetic pop that it can give you a headache with all this rainbow energy. Highlights include "I’m Just Ken", "Man I Am", and the beautiful "What Was I Made For?". Some songs don't add much and seem like discarded fillers from the artists in question, such as "Forever & ... read more
The instrumentals and production are more interesting than the message itself, and that kind of bores me. The songs are long without really saying anything very intriguing. It lacks substance to be something memorable.

i saw someone comparing this album to jagged little pill and melodrama and that's enough for today guys
In his self-titled album, Zach Bryan solidifies his status as the top male artist in today's country music scene. He opts for a minimalist approach, yet delivers a profoundly sincere body of work. The lyrics convey pain, nostalgia, and even a touch of hope that only genuine life experiences can bring. Zach has much to share, and I hope he continues to gift us with his beautiful music.

Encantador.
