I think the main reason this is rated as one of Bowies best albums is because of the title track but there are genuinely some great songs on here asides from it. The opener and closer in particular are great as well as Sons of the Silent Age. And of course the title track is one of the greatest songs ever made.

If I had a nickel for every AOTY user made post rock masterpiece that came out in 2024 I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

It’s not as incredible as everyone seems to make it out to be but it’s still a great album

This is like a less noisy and more beautiful Loveless. It’s incredible although not as good as loveless. Still top 3 Shoegaze albums for me though.
