"Sling" is like a blanket in a cold day: it keeps you warm, calm, gives you the feeling of safeness and you just can't get enough of it.

With "Happier Than Ever", Billie delivers us a more mature, diverse and colourful project than the previous one. Even when her ​perfomances are more uninspired, the story behind the music and its lyrics can make up for it, except for "Lost Cause" (which is actually fun and not a lost cause, but some levels below the other tracks here). I also have to shout out FINNEAS for the production. Very fitting and carefully crafted.

I don't know why this project as a whole works for me. It's super messy, but somehow it all flows.

If you haven't noticed the score yet, I love "Whole Lotta Red" to death, it just liberates all this energy within me. You can associate this album to a big party that you don't feel like leaving and that leaves you a bit sad after it's over (F33l Lik3 Dyin sets up the tone for that).
