In the discussion for one of the best rap albums of the 2010s. Compared to other trap albums from the time I think Rodeo's creativity puts it on a level of its own. This album could've come out today and it would still sound ahead of its time, and yet its nearly 10 years old. Masterpiece.
How this was released in 1967 I will never understand. Insanely predictive of so many genres and movements within music.
This album feels exactly like how the cover looks. Incredibly dissonant and eerie. Production is fantastic as well. Easily both the best and most forward thinking rap album of the decade so far.
Signs of what was to come on Talk Talk's following album, however I feel like this album is trying to grab your attention more than Laughing Stock with more heavy climaxes and noisy sections. Not quite as heavenly sounding as Laughing Stock, but still a fantastic album
Big guilty pleasure album for me. This whole thing is incredibly infectious and feel-good, a lot of nostalgia behind this as well. Well produced and Travis Barker's drumming really nicely brings the more simple elements of the music together
