A defining album of my generation, and an important piece of music history
I was 17 when this came out in October 2024, living in denial of the imminent shift in the levels of maturity expected for me. I felt like I knew everything, but listening to Chromakopia blew everything I thought I knew about my mental progression out of the water. yall are hating too much because of the press run, it’s certainly below peggy’s average but this is by no means bad
Don Toliver's music continues to be repetitive, uninspiring and bland to me, I will never get the hype.
In terms of individual song quality, this album has it's fair share. However as a sum of its parts it lacks the entrancing soundscape and captivating energy I expected.
