Luiz Bonfa's guitar is hypnotizing with each song and brings a very interesting twist to his typical Guitar Playing.
I think coming back to this album after the release of CHROMAKOPIA made me appreciate more. Although still not a very consistent album, it is almost few to no skips and Tyler The Creator does a great job at making this sound of being affluent and having grandiose luxury. Runitup and Rise! definitely surpass the bar and are such underrated tracks. I think as the years keep passing, I will continue to appreciate this Album more and become affable to it
This album left me such a new taste of Bossa Nova in a positive way. And the splash of funk adds such a grooviness and rhythm that it makes it a great listening experience in a short 29 minutes.
Oddly enough, I chose a very bad pick for my first listen of Queen but it makes more interesting. At the end it was nothing of what I expected compared to what I had heard of Queen previously. And it feels like an attempt for Queen to dive into other genres but neither does it not work out, but it doesn't feel like that Queen sound and feeling that they have. Pretty mediocre expect like 3 songs.
Absolute legend for making such a powerful and direct song towards the Military Dictatorship in a time of censorship. Genius writing and amazing progression
Tyler the Creator absolutely blew it out of the park with CHROMAKOPIA. After being out of the radar and without releasing a major album for 3 years, the first listen of this album already makes those 3 years absolutely worth it. This new chapter of Tyler feels very evident when analyzing all the themes that he goes into depth and the maturity and quality of singing that comes from him. It is also so surprising but very true to him to mix such a wide variety of sounds like Rah Tah Tah and Like ... read more
It astonishes me that someone could have great lyricism, instrumental, messages and purpose on their music. Something that NO THANK YOU by Little Simz was able to accomplish.
I had already listened to Sometimes I Might Be Introvert and the bar was high and she delivered perfectly. Every song appears that it was meant to be in this album and perfectly channels Simz's emotions and ideas. Ultimately showing all the flaws that she sees all around what she is part of; The music industry, the ... read more
Rex's latest album was very interesting with a deep dive into his struggles and how he navigates his emotions through music. I really liked it with The Table and Pure being some of the best songs but I still felt that "it factor" missing to make it such a better album.
Stepped out of my comfort zone with this album compared to the other stuff that appeals to me. I honestly have respect for Radiohead as a band and what they have made and for me this was my first Radiohead Album and i would said it was decent! I had only heard Weird Fishes and the albums delves into a lot of different sounds that i like and some that just don't appeal to me. There's some tracks tho that I would definitely come back to.
Really fun and funky sound! Really like the concept and the story my only issue is that some songs do sounds the same rhythm wise.
Once again Siempre Es Hoy, the third album of Gustavo Cerati does not disappoint. Although not ground-breaking to the level of Bocanada, Cerati seems to delve into an even more electronic sound with Siempre Es Hoy that although it new to Cerati, he polishes it and it is one of his most unique albums.
Between the first half of the album, outside of few exceptions like No Te Creo and Señales Luminosas that are a bit underwhelming, it is very well constructed and shows a lot of diversity ... read more
Top Canciones:
1. 11 y 6
2.Giros
3.Cable A Tierra
Wow what an album. I wasn't sure what the feel or sound of this album was going to be when it started, but as the songs progressed it started to comfort me and it felt as music that was meant for me. I really love the lessons and reminders i was able to obtain from this Album. From the radiant energy of Musician to the acoustic and sweet sound of Blossom, this album was one of the best listening experiences i have had with an album when first listening to it. And i feel that Nurture is an ... read more
New Jeans continue to prove their amazing versatility with new genres and rhythms and succeeding tremendously. Both tracks are super catchy and show their progress to being more cohesive.
