doomsday is my favorite single. overall this album is consistent and a great introduction to his whole sound.
i think as far as im concerned, eminem albums suck. this one is good but i rarely return to it.
i think what sets this apart from other projects is the way its production sounds. the beats are so divine here
this is how i found out about DOOM. album itself is pretty good, important stuff for alt rock as it combines a lot of other unique sounds.
for a bunch of covers and alt versions of album songs this is actually pretty solid for a big deftones fan. i could see people not liking this album a ton if you arent hugely into deftones and thats alright.
i feel like you either listened to this in high school or you didnt. i didnt, so i think its just good.
id legitimately give this a 5 higher rating if pink cellphone wasnt on here. id listen to this as an album more if pink cellphone wasnt on here. its so awful to hear what the fuck were they thinking.
my friend told me machine head is shit and the laughing stock of the metal community outside of this album so i only listened to this album. its consistent and i think has a lot of the good metal tropes, especially in the vocal department. the long songs dont get boring and the covers are good and add new things to make them actually good covers.
just fantastic math rock that doesnt get tiring to listen to. unfortunately the version of goodbye on here is not as good as the other one (go find it).
good j-rock music where sometimes they get a bit experimental and do some weird stuff. vocals really carry at points because of the clear emotion being output by the singer
its great, consistent rap music with solid production making it easy to listen to. only issue is sometimes the songs go on a bit long.
