Mac DeMarco - Salad Days
80

its catchy and mac's vibe is as clear as its ever been. i think after hearing some of the stuff this album is derived from ive lost some enjoyment but its alright cause i still find it good. lots of catchy sections and easy going sounds.

Chris Travis - Never Forget
80

this got that unspoken vibe to it. cloud rap type shit. vaporwave turned rap music. sometimes my day just becomes dominated by randomly putting never forget on.

Porter Robinson - Worlds
80

unpopular opinion alert: this is still better than nurture. this also does pop pretty well. there might be a bit of nostalgia tho

A$AP Rocky - AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP
80

when it comes to albums this is rocky at his best. weird sounds here make this a great cloud rap album.

死んだ僕の彼女 [my dead girlfriend] - hades (the nine stages of change at the deceased remains)
85

hades reminds me of to see the next part of the dream but i dont have to pause it. some of the synths on here are really great and add a ton to the catchyness of the songs.

Denzel Curry - Imperial
80

spiritual lyrical miracle

JPEGMAFIA - Veteran
90

still the best peggy album. this one is more in tune with internet culture and i think it is more enjoyable that way.

Pusha T - DAYTONA
80

its like the last good thing kanye west did. production goes crazy, pusha t sounds like he wanted to do something special here. couple funky mixing issues tho where like my ears feel like they are gonna bleed if i listen above an average volume

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
80

weird relationship with this album. on first listen i was not surprised to hear tyler the creator go this direction, i did like it though. i find that i dont really enjoy this as an album as much as i used to on relistens.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Bandana
80

i like to act like i remember this album but i really dont, crime pays is goated

Yung Lean - Starz
80

ive never lived in the EU let alone been there but damn did i feel it. this is yung lean at his most accessible but also his most catchy. some of the slower songs are a little bit of a drag but so many fun bangers here

Viagra Boys - Cave World
80

actually good parody music wtf. the production here sounds great and punchy and like its beating my head in. so many great choruses that stuck with me. the little instrumental track/skit things really help with the flow of an album like this where it could get a bit grating just hearing parody after parody.

Black Thought & Danger Mouse - Cheat Codes
80

overall, this is a really solid project and im not that familiar with black thought. i think that the main reason i came to this album was for the features though (take one look and its obvious why). stellar production that keeps you interested.

JID - The Forever Story
80

actually felt like some good stuff was going on here. interesting ideas and flows, not just doing his one trick from the past.

Nas - King's Disease III
80

hes back and killing it again

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
85

this whole album has this feeling like its really touching you. its a cool experience and definitely a pink floyd album that i like.

David Bowie - "Heroes"
90

what the fuck is he doing in the artwork

i love how this album has it all, the bowie catchy fun songs but also these wild ambient tracks that make you feel like you're travelling to new places. i do wish the two sides of this project were a little more intertwined because i feel it could have made for an even more fantastic experience but it is what it is.

Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me
95

album is great, super catchy riffs. feels like one of those albums where the guys working on it know what sounds good to people but also are super talented so its a win win. poledo is so fucking creepy, like genuinely scares the shit out of me every time i hear it.

On Yung Lean - Stranger
"im a noob on this site so lowkey didnt see this comment. there is an entire documentary about what happened before this album and during when he made warlord. he struggled with drugs and eventually had an overdose where he was sent into psychosis. if i remember correctly he then had his manager go get him something because he was seeing things and like hearing voices. his manager got into a car accident and was killed. i believe he found this out while still suffering from drugs and such, this led to him trying to turn around his life and stranger is a big part of that. so to answer your question it was more about what happened during warlord that led to this album being created. this is the documentary if you want: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wgFliyJ4Bk&ab_channel=Noisey"
