Lana Del Rey - Born to Die
74

pretty solid album actually, it got some few gems and probably some of her best tracks just like Born to Die, Video Games, and Summertime Sadness, it got some weak spots tho, but the majority of the songs are pretty decent, not anything mind blowing but you get it.
The next album I'll listen to is NFR, I mean from Lana, so I hope that it does live up to the hype, and yeah that's all.

The Avalanches - Since I Left You

2026 Music #44:

yeah I'm sorry, but this is just not it, some songs are repetitive and she just keeps saying the same sentences, which is actually a tool that could be really incredible sometimes, but definitely NOT for her, it sounds horrible, I mean it's electronic and a lot of artists do this but in a good way, not whatever she's trying to do here, I was really sick when I listened to the album my head was about to blow up, so I wanted to listen to something that could boost ... read more

she doesn't really sound like her father in genre and style, but actually, she sounds pretty promising.

Radiohead - Kid A

after listening to Kid A I realized that Radiohead could shit on the microphone and still impress me, and I'm not even joking about that.

Jeff Rosenstock - WORRY.

first of all, thanks to @Nagi111910 for the rec, I just want to say that you got an amazing taste in music, the album really deserves more recognition, and tbh if the album isn't normal, it can't get a conventional review, am I right?
If you’ve ever laid awake at 2 AM stressed out about money, the news, or just growing up, WORRY. by Jeff Rosenstock is the album you need. It basically takes all that heavy, awful anxiety and turns it into a huge punk rock party. It’s loud, ... read more

When this album came out in 2012, it changed everything, Death Grips mixed heavy punk energy with electronic rap music to create something totally new in the music industry.

The best part about the album is that it sounds harsh and angry, but it has songs you can actually dance to. "Get Got" starts the album with a fast, iconic beat that pulls you right in, "I've Seen Footage" is definitely a party track, even though it feels a bit dark. By ... read more

Blu & Exile - Below the Heavens

I think that he likes the color blue...

OutKast - Aquemini
94

when I heard the first ten tracks, I was convinced that Aquemini is better than Stankonia, lots of classic amazing tracks just as Rosa Parks, Skew it on the Bar-B, Aquemini, and the best two tracks on here Da Art of Storytellin', but when I heard Mamacita everything changed, cringy song tbh, and any song after that just doesn't live up to the albums level, so yeah, Stankonia's better, so if I wanna say this in a word, overrated.

Cass Elliot - Make Your Own Kind of Music

fuck you Oliver Saxon, worst villain ever.

Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
95

the Hip hop version of What's Going on, Just as Marvin Gaye looked at 1971 America and sang about the Vietnam War, police brutality, and environmental decay, Public Enemy looked at 1988 America and rapped about the crack epidemic, media manipulation, the prison system, and institutional racism. the both of them paint pictures of community under siege, the album is split into two sides, the Silver Side, and the Black Side, the first one is more about vibing and high energy, still paying ... read more

Nas - It Was Written
92

In 1994, the 20 year old Brooklyn rapper Nas made Illmatic, a flawless masterpiece that became the blueprint for East Coast hip-hop, and reshaped how hip hop sounds like nowadays, He wrote the entire album in a first person narrative, acting as a street reporter detailing life in the Queensbridge Houses, he painted vivid pictures of street wisdom, and two years later, he faced the most daunting "sophomore slump" pressure in music history, so what did he do? his second studio album, It ... read more

Earl Sweatshirt - Doris

Doris is a literal rapping masterpiece, everything on the album is cohesive and strong, from the dark lyrics to the great instrumentals from godly producers, just like Tyler, Alchemist, BBNG and most importantly my guy Earl, another thing to praise are the features, lots of great well known rappers and singers, I love the how the album holds a dark vibe, yet there's an emotional vibe attached more to it, which made the album more unique.

Drake - ICEMAN
73

2026 Music #39:

on ICEMAN Drake sounds more confident in his lyrics, the rapping too is flawless I never heard Drake rapping this good fr, the sampling too is pretty decent until I listened to little birdie, it's shit, great flows too, overall the album is overhated tbh, and honestly? I think that it's top 5 Drake, everything is different here than Drake's other projects, and I noticed something too, I feel like Drake is trying to be Kendrick, and I noticed that throughout the ... read more
