Oh looks like Kendrick Lamar is featured on this song called "range brothers". I wonder what thought provoking lyrics he will have.
I understand why this is not on the level of gkMc and tpab for so many people. And even though I'd place both of them above this album, and even though this is album is still beloved and successful, I do consider it better than most people do.
If this was by any other rapper it would be a 10/10. But it is by Kendrick and that means that it has to be compared to what is generaly seen as the best rap album in history. Not all the songs on MMATBS are perfect, unlike tpab. But I am willing to ... read more
Afart-prog, jizz rock, (trust me bro experimental is a real thing, it's not made up), math cock
There is deffinetly porn of that bunny dude somewhere on the internet
You know what? Fuck it, 100/100.
I had never heard anything from Deftones until I started listening to their albums in order of release, and at first I wasn't really sure about their style. The alt metal with Chino Monero's angelic vocals and rap metal seemed like it would get really old, really fast. I was totally wrong and proven even more wrong with every project that I listened to. They change their sound slightly with every album (it becomes a lot more obvious after White Pony) and every ... read more
This album trully feels like a parade. Like the songs are marching one after another, everyone sounding distinct, but all of them working in cohesion. And with the first and last tracks being "The End." and "Famous Last Words" it, much like a parade, doesn't have a start, just a front end and a back end. I renember when I furst heard this years ago and, it being of of my first rock albums, made me feel ... read more
I didn't look at the title if the first song and I thought that bro just kept rhyming "Crib tonight" with "Crib tonight"
Making a clear anouncement that you don't want people milking your fame after your death, and then placing the Kill Yourself song, is iconic af.
I didn't like X, and him dying doesn't make him a good person. But what I hate more is capitalism. And thinking about some executives deciding to spit on this man's grave to make a quick buck is disgusting.
This seems to be about romantic love. But is it about someone who gets no love or about someone who has no love to give? Either way me af.
I completely believe him when he says he's the baddest bitch in the club. Why would he lie about that?
I'd score this higher, but I know that in a couple months this is gonna click so hard with me that I'll have to raise my rating
This is punk, but it's the cartoonish colorful punk asthetic that gets romanticized. Except here it's genuine
What he says here is certainly simple, no metaphors, no alanogies, just singing a message, a message that unfortunately still needs to be heard. But, in my opinion, the straighforwardness of this album is really what makes it feel so sincere and what makes it so timeless.
There are a few unineresting moments in this, but the reason that hurt this album is because when I was kinda fazed out during one of those moments, I thought about how the title contains the word scat in it and that stuck with me throughout the whole album.
