Despite having some solid cuts this album just lacks what made Blank Face LP so captivating
Abstract, Thoughtful, Experimental, Fun... Just some words I can use to describe this great album.
It's a solid release but I didn't really get way too much from it, It's what you'd expect for this album
Compared to his debut its honestly underwhelming considering how promising it was but y'know what I'll take it its not that bad
Solid pop album, Can't say it blew me away or anything but I for sure enjoyed this one
Over-rated but nice I guess, Definitely better than most of his output over his career.
Sloppy & Forgettable, Take what makes Ludacris's style of rapping so fun to listen to and put it over shitty beats and make him sound like ass. That's how get this album.
Look I like Chris Brown but this is too much don't you think?
Machine Gun Kelly's songs sound like the musical equivalent of a millennial who bases their entire personality off the fact that they're "quirky"
If you were to ask me a few years ago what my opinion was on EST Gee, I would tell you that he's one of my favorite newcomers in the game when it comes to trap music. But now? Not so much.
I feel like this is yet another case of a rapper's style getting stale to the point where their new music doesn't stand out whatsoever in any way, shape or form because no matter how hard said rapper goes off on a verse or how crazy a beat is the style has just gotten boring so at best said ... read more
This album is like a group project with the kid who's an absolute genius (The Alchemist), the kid who just barely passes the class (Larry June) and the kid who has the potential to be Einstein but doesn't care enough to use it (2 Chainz)
Don't let this site fool you, This is nowhere near a 34 and this is NOT a horrible album. But by even Drake's standards this is honestly just forgettable...
Let's start off with the positives of this record. This whole album has a clear vibe & theme similar to 2021's "Certified Lover Boy" whilst not being as cohesive, It also houses some somewhat solid moody production choices on some of the tracks such as "SOMEBODY LOVES ME" & PARTYNEXTDOOR ... read more
This is surprisingly... Decent?
Yuno Miles becoming a serious artist wasn't something on my non-existent 2025 bingo card but here we are I guess.
Now when I say "serious" I don't mean he's all of a sudden exploring the meaning of life or some shit but what I mean is this is just Die Lit or Perfect LUV Tape levels of serious where its clearly for fun but it isnt comedy rap. Y'know what I mean?
I feel like whilst on half of these tracks Yuno is genuinely ... read more
Listen, I really had hope... I really did.
Lil Baby's latest full length LP, "WHAM" shows that despite showing slight signs of innovation he's still deciding to make inoffensive trap music that has no point other than to end up on rap caviar.
Now this isn't bad by any means don't get me wrong, But this sounds like almost any other gangsta trap album nowadays but just with slightly less punchy production. I think the only thing that makes THIS album in particular ... read more
I was looking through the "new albums" section here on this site today and I got interested by a specific album... an album with an infant on the cover that has an all caps title & 14 tracks.
To put it simple: I got curious onto who this "nettspend" guy is and well... What the fuck
Can we even call this music? Is it possible to figure out the thought process of the people who helped this white boy make this album? What the fuck is this?
There's barely any melody ... read more
So Jelly Roll... Huh
I've known about Jelly Roll's existence ever since around 2015 when I found out about all the music he had with Lil Wyte.
I didnt pay attention to him honestly up until around this year when he suddenly started getting a shit ton of promotion & hits out of nowhere, And that's when I found out he switched to country.
To me, Jelly Roll feels like if you took the formulas of generic mainstream country & added a slight rock twist and made the artist ... read more
