Performing in orchestras was a huge part of my childhood; a hobby I wish I had maintained. Performing with others always has a magic to it that can't quite be replicated in small-group or solo performances. Oh, nostalgia...
This album is packed to the brim with hits, with its more upbeat tracks being some of the best in Marina's discography. The opening few songs, in particular, are incredibly catchy and dance-able, with an aesthetic to them that would define their era on Tumblr. I find little fault in the first half of the album.

I don't often listen to compilation albums, but this is undeniably an essential in The Smiths' catalogue - arguably just as much as their studio albums. Containing so many great songs, as well as interesting versions of album material (John Peel and David Jensen sessions), this is both an excellent catalogue of their singles and a place to find new takes on some of their most beloved material. A wonderful listen.
