This is truly fantastic. Extended jams, great performances, and a truly stellar vibe are all hallmarks of a great live rock album and this release checks all of those boxes. I love MJ's guitar work so much live, and I truly dig the energy that are brought to every track. I do understand your point, but as someone who is not either of those things, I truly do enjoy the raw energy and feeling of these guys's music, and think that the style, while maybe not everyone's cup of tea, is enjoyable aggressive and technical. "Not sure if they cashed in. The sound is similar, but to me Stone Temple Pilots is it's own group and they have their own thing. Plush for example was written before the "big break" of grunge, so I think it was just a sound of the time."
