Favourites: Big Poe, Sugar On My Tongue, I'll Take Care Of You
Least Favourites: Ring Ring Ring, Tell Me What It Is
Nothing stands out as impressive or even original, and the very forced transitions just won't age well outside of the album's context? Also, the mixing is horrific for the majority of this album. A bunch of nothing: 1 catchy hook in the entire tracklist, lacklustre rapping, poor and uninspired production.
Favourites: Dark Thoughts (I guess???)

The better Baby Keem.
Really tight beats, JID knows how to flow well and his storytelling is great. A few songs lack replay value for me.
Favourites: Can't Punk Me, Lauder Too, Just In Time, Sistanem
Least Favourites: Stars, Money, Better Days
Incredibly consistent album, Peggy's production (particularly his sampling) is incredible and his rapping doesn't disappoint: impeccable flow and delivery. My only (minor) complaint is that the mixing is odd at times. The only thing stopping this album from being amongst my absolute favourites is the lack of a strong concept, but that's just a personal nitpick and not a real negative. Almost every song has incredible replay value.

Fun song structures, mediocre flow, mediocre lyrics, mediocre production, annoying vocal inflections, often misses the mark by focusing too hard on being eccentric, rather than palatable. Won't be coming back to most of this tracklist, as it doesn't offer much that is unique or exceptional.
Favourites: family ties, vent
Least Favourites: pink panties, first order of business
The majority of this album just does nothing for me, which is disappointing since I was quite excited going into it. There's stellar production in parts, but the robotic voices are (generally) more annoying than interesting. The features are all good, but I walk away from this project with only a handful of songs leaving a memorable impression - most being unable to capture my attention for the full length.

Very seamless experience, without feeling repetitive at all. The slightly muffled (?) mixing on PinkPantheress' voice is perfect when matched alongside the elusive production. This mixtape feels like a tightly packaged dance fever.
Favourites: Romeo, Tonight, Stateside

Tyler's music is very consistent and almost every song he makes in recent times is at the very least good. However, this is the first album by him I've listened to which I simply can't connect with. Most of the tracklist fails to elicit any specific emotion out of me, only vague feelings of happiness or sadness.
It feels like for the majority of Chromakopia, Tyler is unable to quite blend style and substance together - often choosing one or the other.
That being said, I still ... read more
Incredible experience. The production is stellar throughout and Frank's voice is almost always able to compliment it perfectly. He's able to explore very complex ideas about sexuality, romance and growth without ever feeling pretentious. That's not to say the lyrics in this album are simple, but rather that they echo the emotions he's trying to communicate prior to dissecting them.

I would probably love the title track if not for the plapping sound effect I can't stop laughing whenever that shit starts and it's very excessively incorporated
Favourites: Love in the Sky, Professional, The Town

Edit: This album peaks so high for me that it's right amongst my favourites now, regardless of there being 3 songs I don't listen to.
I like a large portion of this album, it just sounds good and there's a few songs I can definitely see myself replaying a lot. Really enjoy Carti's delivery on most tracks, and there's a number of great features (NOT you, Travis Scott).
That being said, this album feels more like Carti devolving into the type of sound that he's "supposed" to release, based on how he's generally perceived. There's not really much innovation and (I Am) Music is definitely ... read more
Genuinely incredible production, still have gripes with the lyricism on some tracks but the narrative is well-constructed.

I would add XO/The Host to my favourites but the 2nd part is just nowhere near as good...
