Definetly an effective and harrowing piece of art, but I don’t see what’s enjoyable about it.
It had it’s moments, but this album’s trippy and repetitive nature didn’t end up winning me over. While I do enjoy each track for what they are, it makes for a rather draining album experience considering this thing’s duration and lack of variety. This album is best played in the background with some sort of method of distracting you from it’s samey and gimmicky presentation.

The superior disc of The Powers That B album cycle offers some of the group’s most intense and damning experiments of sound yet, and as a result, leads to one of their best records.

Least Fav: Death Grips 2.0
This is definitely Death Grips’ most effectively unsettling album to date. However, this quality makes the record’s exciting exciting moments much more scarce, and usually works to the record’s favor when it comes to moments of brilliance such as Come Up And Get Me and Artificial Death in The West, which perfectly mix eerieness with excellent musicality. Overall, this album is perfectly decent.

Not the biggest fan of the flow on Shing02’s rapping, but the greatness of the lush orchestral instrumentals, especially in a song like Luv(sic) pt.3 are just too great to ignore.
Starts with a great run of tracks, nosedives immediately after, and just concludes with a completely gutless ending. Thankfully their next mixtape is an improvement. I wouldn’t look much past the 5th track on this thing.

Just like a rainbow, the somber downpours of this album allow for the bloom of this album’s most explosive and colorful moments.

Listening to this album feels like a hypnotic experience in which i’m transported to the expansive world of Miller’s psyche.
