She must have put a lot of effort in making each song sound different from the last which definitily payed off and is the greatest aspect to this project. On my first listen I didn't know what to expect from each following song and had to put my trust in her artistic abilities on guiding me through her vision resulting in a exhilerating experience. That being said this effect wore off on the following listens and I kinda hate the fact that I can't to the album this for the first time again
A great debut that shows the potential she has as an artist. Sure it's a bit fragmented and scatterbrained but I like it this way. It feels like she had some cool ideas for different sounds and structures and committed herself to execute them on a really high level resulting in a project that feels idiosyncratically hers
The Tape just went by, without me being able to retain a special highlight. There were some funny lines that made me chuckle but the rest just feels like a mashed togehter blob of sounds
They surely have a lot to say but they sadly just start making sense near the end of a 53 min runtime. Seriously why is this project so long and bloated? It would have benefited greatly from being a bit shorter, but sadly it's not much more then a mixed bag of tracks, some them good others not
Captivating in a way that only this album manages to be. I can't really find the words for it, but this is just so good. Such a shame that it wasn't meant to be for this band. RIP Christopher Reimer
