Listened to whilst drinking beer and smoking cigs in the garden. Leaped everywhere; melancholic to hopeful. Thinking of Basquiat, Cocteau’s “La Belle et la Bete”, and separation. Not in a while has listening to an album stirred so many thoughts in me! I feel sick!

Listened whilst finishing up my script. 'Exit Music for a Film' played at the perfect moment, as it usually does. A complete colouration of the mind and surroundings when this one is on. Absolutely special.

Listened whilst on the train to Katie's. It is Valentines Day tomorrow and I've eaten too many sugary sweets. The sounds of the piece fit the visions of the Devon countryside very precisely. Spindly tree limbs, a matte grey sky and someone is eating a very smelly sandwich a couple seats over from me.
