An amazing musical feat for the 2020s decade- since last year I've had a weird infatuation with this album, fascinated by what I heard while unable to pinpoint the appeal of it. It just has such a strange nostalgia to it that grabbed me off the first few listens. Sinking deeper into all these surreal yet beautiful songs, it is so fulfilling to gradually get obsessed with different pockets of this sprawling album. It's songwriting quality is top notch-the entire tracklist is an ... read more
new era has a freakish direction so far and I'm loving this, no one does it like her
Still waiting to be really blown away by a single for the album but this ones just decent to my ears, however I am at least enjoying the direction of this more than End of Summer
It bangs, love the goofy vibe to start but the second half really takes it to another gear. Cant wait to hear what else Steve Lacy drops
Slept on Buck 65 for way too long, this is a one of one country rap experience that tastefully blends the genres with touches of beautiful folk instrumentation. Powerful album that only an artist with this remarkable skillset could pull off
One of Mileys greatest jams, came out in peak pandemic time and should've been a massive hit. It stands out boldly in the mix of 80s inspired pop that was around in 2020
Absolute ear candy, nothing new from Doja Cat but it doesn't matter, it just hits
Always liked hearing a solid rap verse on a super catchy pop tune and this one checks all the boxes
One of my favorite Swift songs ever is cowritten by St. Vincent.. sounds about right. generational pop banger
Pretty decent but I hope this Droogie Otis album is more exciting than the singles seem to be so far. Boldy was my favorite part of this song.
as always Slayyyter has hit us with a sexy, exhilarating banger. This track rocks and subtly evolves her usual formula with its dark and gritty production and wild hooks. Most consistent pop artist in the bizzzzz
Actually not shabby at all and contains the best set of songs in this sznz series. Stands up pretty strong next to those other EPs. Even when the results are mixed its cool to see weezer doing their thing 3 decades later
Perfect encapsulation of Daniel Son and Futurewave's grimy boom bap style and creative chemistry. I'm getting tons of replay value out of this one
Chaotic in the greatest way possible and an amazing showing of the three songwriters' respective greatness. Each of them are delivering some of their best work on Tusk while all doing so in wildly different ways. Despite the mix of styles, the album somehow flows well as this odd but beautifully satisfying experience. So interesting that this sprawling, 20-song extravaganza is what the band decided to release right after Rumours.
This is the greatest pre-Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac album for me, and it features a handful of highlights from not only Christine McVie but also Danny Kirwan who pulls out some of his most well-written songs ever for his final album with the band like the title track and Dust. Throw in a classic banger like Sentimental Lady and you've got a super solid representation of the band's earlier days.
Very fun, raw old school blues rock from the band, weird to hear what would eventually become Fleetwood Mac but they were already showing that knack for enjoyable songwriting.
Just absolutely mind-blowing stuff, this album is the most insane sensory experience but I love those catchy refrains from Jane and the little production intricacies that tie the whole project together. Loved the shoegaze direction of Census Designated but this is Jane’s strongest work so far. TURN UP OR DIEEE
