she continues to be one of my favorite pop stars with an album of nonstop BANGERS even stronger and more consistent than troubled paradise in my opinion. whole thing goes so hard, super fun listening experience. slayyyter delivered anthems with this one. miss belladonna, out of time, plastic, and my body are among the best tracks of her career.
MERLYN! cmon bro I wanna root for you (and all the BH guys) but I cant defend this
thought this album was great. doja cat brings endless personality, catchy hooks, and variety to this featureless record, easily carrying it on her own. I especially love how her voice sounds over tasteful boom-bap beats on attention, 97, and balut. the album is also filled with sticky earworms like paint the town red, go off and skull and bones. this is my favorite mainstream rap release of the year so far, and despite all the antics leading up to it, doja proved herself on this thing. the only ... read more
what a gorgeous album my god... this is so raw and stripped back and i just love this approach for mitski. i was never into her music that much before but i have always loved her voice. she sounds so in her element here and the instrumentation suits her beautifully. this one hit me pretty hard and i think it is surprisingly one of my favorites of the whole year!
well written but the overall vibe of this track is kinda meh for me, pretty decent single though. better than a lot of stuff on her latest album
god damn this is a strangely beautiful and hard-hitting introduction to By Storm. very excited for their future, whatever it may be. long live groggs and injury reserve.
travis barely on his own lead single, bad bunny sounds alright, and weeknd is the best part of the track. nothing all that catchy or memorable coming from this song, after a 5year wait for utopia im a bit concerned yall…
been really really liking this album's nostalgic, summery feel. it has so many fun catchy moments that have been sticking in my brain causing me to come back over and over. I wasn't even crazy about Fike's last album but he seriously tightened up his songwriting here and delivered so many sweet tunes. the whole project balances its more serious, personal moments out with carefree summer jams. I've been replaying ant pile, 7 hours, bodies, mona lisa, and frisky the most but I really think ... read more
this tape is my favorite project that mac miller ever released. as much as I also enjoy circles, what he created on this 24 track mixtape is nothing short of incredible. rapping-wise mac miller is at peak charisma and creativity here coming in with excellent topical tracks, emotional vulnerability, and an endless rush of witty one-liners. his perspective on his own thoughts and his growing substance abuse is very complicated and he approaches the topics in a variety of ways while bringing a ... read more
was looking forward to this collab but the final result is a bit of a let down. kaytrananda production is pretty consistently high quality but the vibes on this project feel all over the place in this short album, it didn't really flow smoothly as a full listen. amine's performances weren't great either compared to his solo work and some of his vocals were just annoying to me on certain tracks. there are moments that save this album though, like 4eva, westside and the stellar last track. just a ... read more
I've enjoyed Nack for a while now and this project only takes all of his uniqueness and puts a Griselda spin on it. solid grimy production all over this and Nack just keeps up that unhinged rapping style which has grown on me over the last year that I've been checking out his back catalog. happy him and WSG linked up for this, my only nitpick would be that I wish it had more features.
love this track wow she just keeps puttin out heat singles. nice AF production on this one
this is one of the greatest collections of alchemist beats hes ever put together on one project. of course currensy rides every instrumental effortlessly. A1 collaboration
