I mean, it feels unbelievable, doesn't it? Even here in 2026, after Bowie was taken from us, it feels surreal that he's really gone, like the reality of it hasn't yet set in. As someone who similarly feels poorly about generative AI and the places it’s taking culture as a whole, this record is just nothing. This is not a protest at all— what should be a loud and angry yell against technology that passed the point of just being threatening, is actually a quiet & pitiful admission that musicians WILL give up if AI becomes the norm.
