A slow burner for sure, but once in the thick of it, Hearts Aglow is beautifully captivating, hauntingly melancholic and absolutely one of the most moving works of music to drop this side of 2022.
Hearts Aglow is emotionally weighted to say the least, themes of desolation and sorrow balanced with hope and optimism all surrounded in an atmosphere of music that really engulfs the record while of course perfectly matched with Natalies profound and absolutely stunning vocal performance that acts ... read more
A bittersweet finale from the Californian rap collective with their 8th and final record “TM”. It was always going to be hard to live up the idea of the “final BROCKHAMPTON record” but I have to admit TM really doesn’t do much for me personally and I don’t think it offers much expansion to the groups discography, let alone being their “goodbye album”. Quadeca already had a lot of hype to live up to with this latest record after receiving huge praise on 2021s “From Me To You” and not only does Quadeca actually deliver an intelligent, ambitious and musically rich record on this latest release, ... read more
