A Fine African Man is a great sophomore album from Knucks. The album has a big influences from afrobeat, that blends kinda weird with Knucks' conscious drill style. Some of my highlight were Cut Knuckles and Goldtooth.
Honestly the album is really overhated. I understand why people don't like the house and edm influences but I like it. There isn't really any bad or mid song but a lot of the middle of the album is very forgetful.
For a guy who has been died for nearly 30 years it's really fucking good. The album has a stacked feature cast with people like Nas, Jay Z, Mac Miller (Rip), Joey Badass and more. It also didn't sound forced and really has some solid tracks. Rip Big L.
for a sophomore mixtape it's really good. The Warm Up has some of Cole's most overlooked and greatest songs like Dreams and Dead presidents II.
I'm so happy that Mother finally came out. It's low-key top 3 Chromakopia
I don't understand the hate. It's nothing crazy, but people acts like it's unlistenable and still makes fun of J. Cole for deleting 7 Minute Drill
It's really not bad, it's just work of it's time, you can clearly hear the inspersions like X, Trippy and Uzi. Some track haven't aged the best but if you just remove the songs Red Dot to War it would be like a 7 or 8
Kinda crazy that Earl had a better album at 14 that a lot of a-list rapper nowadays
Hvis jeg havde en øre for hver gang Ukendt Kunstner udgav et klassisk album, ville jeg have omkring fire eller fem stykker, hvilket måske ikke er mange penge, men det er stadig vildt at de ikke har misser.
Damn. Abel really just be cooking genre defining mixtape in his early 20's like it's nothing
It's kinda wild that this is the same guy who made Vultures 2 and fucked his cousin
