Mac DeMarco - This Old Dog
88

I was really never a big Mac Demarco fan, but now I understand the hype. The production is really simple and chill in a beautiful way. The album feel calming in many way, like I haven't felled so stressless in long time. Overall do I really loved This Old Dog in many ways, like I really loved how honest and emotional he gets at points, especially on songs like Moonlight on the River and Dreams from yesterday.

legobygger123 - losseplads
81

Frank Kole - Autumn Leaves
89

I'm normally not that interested in jazz, but really this is beautiful. The musical transformation between Comethazine and Frank Kole need to be studied. Comethazine going from aggressive trap to smooth instrumental jazz was not on my 2025 bingo card. I really hope he will drop a album is this style, I feel like that could save his career.

JPEGMAFIA - EP2!
67

EP2! is pretty alright, but not as good as the first. EP2! feel most rnbish compert to Ep! that is fully hip hop centered. Every song on this ep is pretty good but nothing really stands out. My highlights could probably be Fix urself and feed her, but the rest is about the level. Overall pretty good. but nothing special.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
90

Why was this the last of Peggy's album I heard? SCARING THE HOES is definitely a way to describe the sound of the album. I really liked the production and how Jpegmafia samples a lot of early 2000's pop songs, I also like he fuse experimental hip hop with a lot of different sounds, like on Jack Harlow Combo Meal where he has a simple acoustic piano in the background over some heavy sounding production. I felled like Peggy stole the show on most of the album, and Danny ended like ... read more

A$AP Rocky - PUNK ROCKY
88

I think we are looking at a aoty already. Punk Rocky feels a lot like Sundress, but not in a bad way. Differently not Rocky's best song but I'm so ready for Don't Be Dumb.

JPEGMAFIA - Black Ben Carson
63

I really tried to enjoy Black Ben Carson, but this shit isn't for me. I like some element. like I feel like the production is very creative, but it just a bit to much. The theme and lyrics are also a bit to much, like I don't feel like I can listen to I Just Killed a Cop Now I'm Horny in public. I like some of the songs but sadly dislike a lot more. Overall do I think it aged pretty badly and is by far Peggy's worst album, but some of my highlights are probably The 27 Club, ... read more

Bladee - Eversince
94

Eversince feels like Icedancer's depressed cousin. The album feels a lot rawer than his other album both because if the producing, which is a lot rougher to the ears, but also the subject of the album, which is a lot about mental health and past trauma of Bladee. Sadly the features are few but Ecco2k's two features are both great and compliment's Bladee greatly. Overall did I really enjoy Eversince but not as much as Icedancer, my highlights would probably, be Who Goes There, ... read more

Lil Hawaii - Det stod skrevet
82

Bladee - Icedancer
92

What isn't to love about Icedancer? Icedancer sound sound like Die Lit on acid. Every song is rememberable in it own way. The are sadly only few features, but the two we got were really great, especially Thaiboy Digital on Side by Side where he low-key carries Bladee. I really enjoyed Icedancer and really don't have any negative things about this album.

Kanye West - Donda 2
43

Why did Kanye release this shit? Donda 2 starts of okay with the first two songs, but after that it just goes down. Get lost is proboly the worst song with Kanye's name attached to it. The rest of the album is really just mid with some exceptions, like Pablo, Louie Bags and Happy. I feel like my least favorite part of Donda 2 is just kanye, must of the song could be without him on them. Overall do I find a few redeeming qualitys, but if Kanye deleted Donda 2 I couldn't be sad.

major hommy - For Those Who Smirk
78

Honestly Major Hommy needs more love. I first heard about him about a year ago in a youtube video about hidden gem artist. I really like For Those Who Smirk, it has a lot of Clams Casino element in the production, with they way Major uses vocal samples. My only real criticism is that he doesn't rap even tho he is good at it as you can hear on Working Man.

PlaqueBoyMax - Five Forever
67

For a debut from a twitch streamer it's not that bad. Plaqueboymax's rapping isn't really bad, but it's nothing crazy. Probably the part of this album is the production, that is kinda in the same ballpark as Carti and Lil Baby. The album nothing crazy but I could see him transition over to music fully in the close future.

smokedope2016 - THE PEAK
91

The Peak is probably the most perfect title for a album. The Peak feels like the perfect stoner album. Smokedope2016 doesn’t take himself too seriously and has a lot of stupid bars, like my favorite “Watch got unlimited gems, like a Clash of Clans glitch”. Overall do I feel like this is one of the best albums of the year.

Pusha T - DAYTONA
82

Pusha T does what does best, and that’s rapping about selling dope. The production from Kanye also works extremely well with Pusha T’s flow. I don’t think Daytona is his best album but still great, if it was a bit longer I would have liked it more. Overall it’s very great but could still be better.

¥$ - VULTURES 2
26

This album makes me so extremely sad, not because of the theme but because I know my goat is washed. The album starts out fine with the first few songs, but after that the whole album falls apart. The album feels unfinished and very messy. Kanye also uses ai for some reason on several songs. Tbh honest I think the features are probably the highlight on the album even though most are very forgettable. I really hope Kanye can save his career on Bully.

49

Enough time have passed, Vultures 1 wasn’t that bad. I just relistened to it after nearly two years and was surprised ts isn’t as bad as I remember. A lot of Kanye’s lyrics haven’t aged the best, but most of the lyrics were already bad. To be honest Ty Dolla sign kinda carried the album. Overall is this shit a mess, but if you removed a handful of song and antiseptic lyric this could have been good.

Yung Lean - Unknown Memory
85

Yung Lean… What haven’t been said about him. He was one of the pioneers of the cloud rap movement in the early 2010’s. He low-key created Travis Scott. The aura needs to be studied.

Rx Papi & Gud - Foreign Exchange
85

Foreign Exchange was a weird experience to listen to. Gud’s production doesn’t match Rx papi’s rapping style or voice at all but somehow it works. Overall pretty good but nothing crazy.

Chief Keef - Almighty So
89

Why doesn’t Chief Keef the credit he deserves, without Keef we wouldn’t have X, Carti, Sematary, Joeyy, etc. On Almighty So has some of the most beautiful instrumentals that somehow mixes perfectly with Chief Keef’s hazy voice. The album feels chaotic and messy in a beautiful way. I would definitely recommend to listen to this album if you like cloud rap.
