This album sound so ahead of it's time, even for todays standards. The album feels like the the blueprint for samples and the fact that she was only 27 when she made this self produced masterpiece. Imogen Heap vocals feels beautiful, even with the overloaded robotic audio effects. Every song sound beautiful and though the listen I just recognize all the song sampled from her, like Angel and Bass by A$AP Rocky, Whatcha Say by Jason Derulo, Kill Everything by Fakemink and not to mention all ... read more
I really don't get the hype about Jaydes and his music. First off Jaydes is a shitty human being and second of does music sound like the basic Alex G/Sad TikTok-Core music I have every heard. The album is luckily only 11 minutes long, so it doesn't feel terribly long, which I like about the album. I don't think the album is terrible, but it could definitely be better.
Okay this is too much, even for Sematary. I kinda liked Rainbow Bridge 3 in some way. The album feels very raw and unpolished even for Haunted Mount's standards. Rainbow Bridge wills like a one time listen to of album in sense that I don't find myself listening to GOD'S LIGHT BURNS UPON MY FLESH on a random Tuesday. The album is definitely one of it's kind type of album, and shouldn't be the first album to listen to if you want to get in to Sematary and Haunted Mount. ... read more
Thaiboy Digital is definitely the most overlooked rapper out of Drain Gang. Thaiboy's Legendary Member is one of the most simple Drain Gang album, in the sense that the album carried a lot of element of traditional trap, while still keeping a lot of element of the regular Drain Gang sound. One of Thaiboy Digital's early problem was his very unique rapping style, which was kinda hard to get into, but on this album do I feel he mastered it perfectly. Overall did I really enjoy every ... read more
E is probably the least relatable album for me, this album was made by queer, black, Swedish guy with crazy fashion sense, who does a lot of drugs. Ecco2k's first (and only) solo album shows exactly how Ecco2k can survive without Drain Gang. Ecco's vocal are great and works really well with the production from Gud and Whitearmor. The album really don't have that many flaws, so I just wanna say some positives about the album. The album sound very unique, even for Drain Gang ... read more
Snow Stripper is one of the greatest duo in Electroclash scene, and on April Mixtape 3 they show how the chemistry between DeliverTheCrush and Tatiana Schwaninger still is. Snow Stripper is often competed to other artist like Crystal Castles, 2hollis and Salem, which is first of just stupid in the sense that they maybe all share the genres but all in their unique style and sound. Most of the album is near flawless, but I still have some problems with the album, my first major problem is that ... read more
Grave House is maybe not the greatest Haunted Mound has released, but this is a solid debut. The album feels very simple (competed to other Haunted Mound albums) in the sense, that the vocals of both Sematary and Ghost Mount aren't as deeply distorted as some of their future music, like Rainbow Bridge 3 and Bloody Angel. Grave House also feels like the one of the most considered album by the two rapper, in the sense that every song on the album hits and is memorable. Overall did I really ... read more
I’m so happy for Ghost Mountains come back to Haunted Mount. October Country feels a lot more polished than Ghost Mountain’s older music and feels a lot more Witch House-ish. The features from Ghost Mountain’s fellow haunted Mount members Sematary and Buckshot are also great additions to the experience. I felt that every song stud out in its own way. Overall do I think this is one of the best albums of 2025, and some of my highlights are Moulder, Damien and Kelvar.
I was really overlooking Daniel Caesar for a long time, like I knew him and some of his biggest songs, but had never sad down and listen to a full album by him. Son Of Spergy was a great introduction to Danial Caesar for me. I really like how Daniel Caesar's vocals blended perfectly with the production and how the features perfectly fitted the vibe of the album. The religious and gospel element also felt great and at times gave me goosebump. I still don't understand how I just got on ... read more
Lil B is a artist we will never get again. Lil B was one of the pioneers of cloud rap and is often given credit as the creator, and that is a very fair statement, like look now in 2026 more than ever you can hear artist like A$AP Rocky, Fakemink and Smokedope2016 how they all are strongly inspired by Lil B. On 6 Kiss does Lil B have some of his most iconic songs like Birth of Rap and I'm God, while still having some underrated gems like All Alone, I'm the Devil and Ridin' 4 My ... read more
8 years for this album just to turn out alright is disappointing. I had high expectations coming in to the album, but I was well disappointed. My Biggest problem is that more of the album is straight up boring at times, like his rapping wasn't really special, the production felt soulless and features were mostly forgettable. The album had some great song like Punk Rocky, Air Force and Stay Here 4 Life, but most if the rest just felt like filler. Overall am I really disappointed with Rocky ... read more
Zushi is one of the only where I got more hooked in the longer I was listening. The album reminds me a lot of different artist like Devon Hendryx, Mac Demarco and Panchiko, all in different ways. The album feels very natural in the sense that a lot of the album's instrumentals is solely done on simple guitars and piano. The features were also great, but also very interesting, like having Yung Lean and A$AP Rocky featured, who both are known for their big internet based presence, but work ... read more
Gluee feels like the most Bladee like Bladee album, like how can this album is turn 11 year old in two week and sound so ahead of it's time. The album feels very ethereal in the sense that nothing really sound like this (outside of Drain Gang). I also really enjoy the features, essentially on Ebay, where both Thaiboy and Ecco2k shows great chemistry with Bladee. Overall did I really enjoy Gluee and found every song really good, my only real flaw is that some of the song could sound a it ... read more
The musically 1-80 between Mista Thug Isolation and Volcanic Bird Enemy needs to be studied. Lil Ugly Mane got his start with his work close connected to Raider Klan in the early 2010's with their 90's Memphis inspired music style, but on Volcanic Bird Enemy, he showcases more emotional music, both lyric wise, but also in the producion. The album follows a lot of themes of mental health struggles, failed relationship, and the the genre does match any of his former music (as Lil Ugly ... read more
Kid a is the pinnacle of Radiohead and feel like the gateway between the old, grunge, alternate rock and the newer more psychedelic, art rock style. The album has no flaws, like the rest of Radiohead's album, like I really don't like In Rainbows (Don't kill me), so I expended a lot of the things I didn't like about In Rainbows. My biggest problem with In Rainbows was that I found most of the songs very forgettable and boring, but with Kid A I wanted to replay all the songs ... read more
Man, 2012 was a different time. First of Lil Ugly Mane doesn't get the credit he deserves, he had Denzel Curry featured when he was 17, he strongly helped Memphis rap to translate to this generation and was also one of the Soundcloud pioneers. The production on this album also felt very ahead of it time but at same time so timeless. The album still has some flaws, like Travis Miller's rapping isn't anything crazy and most of the songs are kinda carried by features and production, ... read more
I'm so happy Svard finally released this banger, I remember before I knew Geopold was Svard, I had heard his music in his Youtube videos and not thinking anything about it, but now after I found out it was all his own music, it feel different. This is song is great but I don't like it was much as some of his other song.
Sematary isn't a rapper for everyone, but i'm starting to like his music. I first heard about Sematary back in early 2023, at that point I just thought it sounded like ear rape and people listened to him as a joke, but now after some years I tried listening to him again, and now I understand the hype. Rainbow Bridge has a lot of metal and early 2010's hip hop influence from artist like Salem, Chief Keef and Black Kray. I really liked Rainbow Bridge and I am definitely gonna ... read more
I'm kinda impressed Chief Keef this is on this level, both rapping wise and producing wise. Sosa got he start in the 2010s and most of the artist from that time has ether changed their style completely from their original start or has been forgotten by time, but Chief Keef not like other artist. Chief Keef was on of the piercers of Chicago drill, and after 12 years, stays he loyal to his early work.
Ice Cream & Mac 10s is the definition of cloud rap. The listen felt very messy in a intentional way, like the production felt very unpolished and the vocals was very poorly mixed. I know that how cloud rap is supposed to sound, but I felt like the songs started to sound very alike at some points. Overall did I like it, but I definitely wouldn't come back to every song.
