I really didn't feel a lot about D&G to be honest. The album just feels like a bunch of loose singles slapped together and called the day. I could excuse it if the album was older, but nah, this was made in 2017, so after Gluee, Tiger and Eversince. I'm still kinda confused by why this was Ecco's first full project, like only being on five of the songs is kinda wild for debut album. My biggest problem was that the album got a bit boring, like I some songs, but a lot just felt ... read more
Tiger is a great project, but as a debut mixtape was I really impressed. I felt Tiger was made in the perfect length by just hitting the half hour mark and I felt happy just having features from Bladee and Yung Lean. My favorite element of the project was definitely the production, which also just is fully done by Whitearmor, Gud and Sherman. I really didn't expect me to like Tiger as much as I did. Overall did I really love Tiger and I was in many way impressed by the 19 year old at the ... read more
I don't think I can name a more consistent artist than Bladee in the modern era. Working on Dying feels like one of Bladee's more polished albums, while obviously being a Bladee album it's surprising how "trap-ish" Working On Dying as group could make it. Working on Dying is obviously Bladee's most vulnerable albums like Eversince, but like Gluee by having a lot of fun songs. If I should choose a Bladee album to play around my friends (which you shouldn't) ... read more
Damn, this shit kinda cool. Normally am I really not into heavy experimental Hip Hop. but I really liked By the Time I Get to Phoenix. Injury Reserve feel like the aftermath of the experimental Hip Hop from the early 2010s, from artist like Death Grips, Kanye and Danny Brown. The album feel very chaotic in a lot of way, but at the same time perfect put together, and I really enjoyed that. I don't feel like By the Time I Get to Phoenix is like a album I could listen to every day, but it is ... read more
... read more
Nu ... read more
I have always known James was talented vocally, but I really never sad down to listen to him before, and I'm am happy to say I really liked Trying Times. Before I listened Trying Times I had heard Bad Cameo with Lil Yatchy, which was pretty good, but Trying Times is on another level. The album felt very personal and in place, and I really felt that the features felt perfectly placed, like how Dave's lower voice really contrasted James Blake's higher and more artsy vocals. The ... read more
? was definitely less exciting that his early album 17, though I still think X tried more new ideas that 17 on ?. I really like how X did try to make the album in one style, like I really how it both haves some sadder and more moody songs like SAD, while still having more happy songs like $$$ with Matt OX, and even having rock inspired songs like Pain = BESTFRIEND and schizophrenia. As much of X's early music didn't it age very well at all, but at the same time I feel like a lot of ... read more
Crystal Castles' self titled debut was crazy to look back on, like just the impact of the album really can't get replicated. This album really sat a new blueprint for electronic music scene, by being very synth based and using strong elements of sampling, and had a huge impact on a lot of the biggest artist in nowadays time, especially artists like Snow Stripper, 2hollis, Bladee, Fakemink and even other like PinkPantheress. The album felt so futuristic, while still sounding outdated ... read more
Amnesiac is by far the weirdest Radiohead album and it isn't even close. Radiohead is already known for the insane production, but the way Radiohead uses their production felt avant garde. The thing that also surpises me is that these songs were left over from Kid A, which doesn't make any sense to me in the slightest. I don't think I have ever heard anyone ever talk about Amnesiac, which doesn't make since this very well may be to three Radiohead albums. Overall did I ... read more
Produktionen er out this world, som også giver mening da Hennedub produceret næsten hele albummet.
They way Denzel Curry collects features from up and coming artist is really cool. The album feels less like a full album, but more like a collecting of Posi cuts they made in studio for shit and giggles. The artist on the album feel like they don't take themself that serious, like TiaCorine literally has a line that goes "Spike Lee, come make a movie, booty Nick at Nite". The album feel like the perfect length at around half a hour, which makes it so you don't get bored ... read more
I understand how people think this is his best album, because this shit hella good. One of my favorite things about Barter 6 is the stupid ass lyrics, like no way you can just say "I nut on that fish on my sofa" like it's a normal line. The features feels very in plays, and I really think a lot of the features actually compliments Young Thug's rapping, especially Lil Duke, Young Dolph and surprisingly also Birdman. I don't think Barter 6 is the craziest album ever ... read more
Before we start to hate, remember that X was only 19 when he released this album, and was around 18 while making it. 17 was really a work of it's time, which you really could hear. The album was relased just a month after the iconic 2017 XXL cypher with the line everyone remembers "And if the world ever has an apocalypse I will kill all of you fuckers", which in hindsight haven't aged so well, but was truly iconic. I feel like the main reason he gets so much hate was how ... read more
