Generation Y as a project is pretty interesting to back on. The album was made at a time where Peggy was in the military dealing with depressing, stress and extreme loneliness. Listening to Generation Y or any of Devon's other album can you really how real everything is, like on one his other album The Ghost Pop Tape does it contain the song like Bubblegum Crisis which is pretty roughly produced, while also having very explicit lyrics, while still being kinda beautiful. Overall was ... read more
Konnichiwa felt like a new beginning for Grime as a hold. While not being the greatest grime album of all time, did Konnichiwa bring grime global, by while still having some iconic british grime artist like Jme and while also having some more american superstars like Pharrell from The Neptunes and A$AP Nast from the A$AP Mob. Overall did I like it, while not being his best album to this day, did a lot of moments stand out for me. My highlights from the album was Man, Text Me Back and ... read more
Skepta is a rapper I have huge respect for, but I have to Ignorance is Bliss is overrated as hell. The album has a great message, which I felt extremely on the intro song Bullet From a Gun, where Skepta raps "Supermodels tryna sex. Sendin' nudes on a text. Can't believe I used to be vexed". The main themes of fatherhood and personal growth hit me pretty hard while listening, even though I can't really relate at my point of life. Overall did I like Ignorance is Bliss a ... read more
I really see something in Ken Carson, the problem is that he releases the same generic rage album ones a year. I had pretty high hopes for agc since it's often looked at as his magnum opus, but to be honest didn't I feel that energy at all. The moments on A Great Choas was definitely better than the moments on X, but at the same time it's kinda wild that his debut is his best while not even being that good. Overall wasn't the album bad in any ways, but just extremely ... read more
Shit this album was boring. I would say in many ways X is a bit overhated, but at the same didn't I feel anything special compared to Ken's other albums, even compered to his debut album Project X didn't X hold a candle to in any ways. I'm so happy over how much Ken's style evolved since, like how did Ken make this "thing" just the year before A Great Chaos? Overall wasn't X terrible, but I can't say it was good either. The only songs I really had ... read more
If we look back on Project X was it a pretty solid debut. A lot of the production were clearly inspired by some of Pierre and F1LTHY's work around that time, which I felt matched Ken's rapping pretty good. This was honestly one of my favorite era for Ken personally, but at the same time I'm happy that Ken evolved his music style into what it is today. Overall was it a pretty decent album for Ken, but it definitely had it's lower moments. My highlights from Project X was ... read more
Half Blood's deluxe BloodLuxe felt less like a deluxe, but more like a sequel to the album. The thing I found fond about BloodLuxe was how I felt like it wasn't as rage centered as he was on the original album and more focused on EDM and "2010s Minecraft Youtuber Intro" parts like on the song Brain Fog. If I being honest did I feel like the highs from BloodLuxe were as or even better than the highs of the original Half Blood. Overall was BloodLuxe a pleasure to listen to and ... read more
Slayr has been a rapper who I have wanted to get into for a minute now, and I'm so happy I finally got to listen to him. One of the things that sold me Slayr's music was just how fun he's music was while still being rage music, which the artist in the scene often has the problem of trying to take them self a bit to serious. I fully understand if Slayr isn't for you, but I really liked Half Blood. Overall would I say Half Blood one of the best album of 2025 and had some of ... read more
The Sound of Bad Habit wasn't as bad as I expected. My biggest problem with Baby Keef is how fast you get tired of Baby Keem's voice, but luckily the album was only 21 minutes long. Not hate on Baby Keem, but I didn't really feel anything about The Sound of Bad Habit like I mean the album is in no way bad, but it's really not good either. Overall did I see some moments I liked in The Sound of Bad Habit, but I really only liked a handful of the songs. Out of the songs that I ... read more
The concept of being a album build like a radio station is pretty cool. NRG 105 was Knuck's first big project, which I was honestly pretty satisfied by, but I don't see it as anything crazy, since only few years later he released one of the best rap albums out of the UK. I really liked how he had some jabs at crime problems in the UK, especially in London where Knucks grew up. Overall did I really like NRG 105, but at the same time you need to remember that Knucks released Alpha ... read more
Die For My Bitch has always been the album from Baby Keem people had said was his greatest, but I don't think Baby Keem is for me. There isn't really anything I really dislike about Baby Keem, like his rapping is fine and his flows are okay, but I really don't feel like Baby Keem stand out in any real way or brings anything to the table. I don't really get the hype about Baby Keem, like no hate, but if Kendrick Lamar wasn't Baby Keem's cousin wouldn't I feel ... read more
Mine favoritter fra albummet er Day After Day, U Need ... read more
... read more
Rico Ace's debut project Blackjack is pretty good, but falls in comparison to EsDeeKid's album Rebel. Lyrically do I think Rice is pretty solid, but Rico Ace as a character isn't as exciting as any of his collaborator. Blackjack also doesn't have any of the charm from a lot of his older music, like it just felt a bit too polished, which kinda threw me off. Overall wasn't it a bad album in any ways, but at the same a lot of the moments wasn't very memorable and just ... read more
