Was nobody going to tell me that Joshua Harmon, lead singer of The Backseat Lovers, aka my favourite band in the entirety of the world, has solo music? Stumbling across this album felt like being handed something I didn’t even realize I’d been waiting for. If you love Morning in the Aves… prepare yourself, this album is for us.
There’s something quietly special about Deeper Sleeper, Joshua Harmon’s self-titled debut album. It’s made up of songs he wrote ... read more

When I first learned about Will Toledo's music, I fell in love with how rough and unfinished his noise was. The comparison of this album sounding like he recorded it in a broken washing machine is incredibly true and I will not deny that for a moment. Even so, there's something so special about this album in its raw form that I will appreciate forever.

I relistened to this album for its 4th year anniversary and it is still just as incredible now as it was then. It may be 80 minutes long, but the time is going to pass anyways. This is the perfect record to play in the background and connect with the world around you.

This album feels like the warmest hug. I never expected that she would be able to make an album on par, let alone better than her previous successor Just Another Diamond Day 30 years before!! Vashi Bunyan is a timeless artist that has never lost sight of her voice and I am so happy we got to hear more.
Update: 82 -> 90, this is such a special record
