Delaney Bailey - what we leave behind
98

Delaney has been one of my top artists this past year and I honestly thought it was just because I left j's lullaby on repeat while going to sleep for a solid few months; but listening to all of her eps in full has made me realize that not only do i know all the words to every song she's released, but I'm constantly in awe of her new work. Not only is her voice ETHEREAL, but her lyrics are so touching and raw. I'm in love with her as an artist she makes me ill.

Delaney Bailey - This Is About You
95

Delaney could write or sing genuinely anything and I'd clap shouting 'again, again!!!!'

- favs : just come down EASY EASY EASY!!! "GOD I HOPE SOMEBODY LOVES ME ENOUGH TO BRING ME BACK TO EARTH SOMEDAY! BECAUSE I WANT TO GO HOME!!! I WANT SOMEONE TO WANT ME TO STAYYYYY!!!!" WHATH ET UFCK

Corner Club - little love lullabies
75

A serene cloudlike EP about love and a breakup. I've known about hot chocolate for so long it threw me by surprise hearing it in this album I was not expecting it. I LOOVE that song.

- favs : hot chocolate, dreamt home, what if you were the one

Sarah Kang - how i remember
70

Sarah's voice is BEEAAAUTIFUL. I'm in awe of her vocals. My only complaint with this album is that I want more songs with just her as the focus, these other people are great and I love a duet, but I was really looking forward to hearing her kill some songs solo

- favs : epilogue!!!, once in a moon, about time

Lyn Lapid - to love in the 21st century: the epilogue
82

The extras in the epilogue of this album detail agreeing to end a relationship, (in the context of this album were they ever even together?), but inevitably keeping in touch. She sings about missing what they had and how when she spends time with them it feels like nothing has changed, but then in 'could've been you', she's reminded why it never worked out. EATS. I love this addition. SO good

- favs : east side and could've been you might be my favourite songs on the entire album.

Lyn Lapid - to love in the 21st century
79

This is literally dating in the 21st century. The two are you are DATING wdym they aren't actually into you????? An epidemic that needs to be studied and researched because how does this keep happening.

- favs : like you want me to, poster boy, keep me around

BENEE - Lychee
56

I enjoyed this album! Her vocals are incredible as always, and it was an interesting change in pace from her usual style. But, it's not my favourite compared to her other work. This album is very chill - sort of bedroom indie pop/relaxed house. I am personally a bigger fan of her other style!

- favs : Doesn't Matter, Never Ending

BENEE - Hey u x
74

This album is killer. There are a good chunk of songs on here that I've heard before - and for good reason. I'm a really big fan of Benee's sound in this.

As for the featured artists?? Gus Dappterton, Flo Milli, Grimes, and Lily Allen on the same album is insane. Never would've expected this sort of lineup together. I have never heard of Muroki until now, and his voice is incredible I have no words

- favs : Plain, C U, Happen To Me, If I Get To Meet You

BENEE - FIRE ON MARZZ
85

ate. her lower vocal range is unreal i want her so bad.

- favs : Wishful Thinking, Afterlife, Evil Spider

The Oh Hellos - Dear Wormwood
94

RAHHHHHH this album is the holy grail. easily one of my favourite folk albums of all time

- favs : Exuent, Dear Wormwood, Bitter Water

Searows - End Of The World
100

When I say searows never ever misses i am being sooooo fucking serious. Phoebe Bridgers is my girl, my ride or die, my #1. but . . . but . they are honestly one in the same. Not only do the lyrics strike directly into MY GUT. But the instruments, the melodies,,, there is not a single aspect of this album that doesnt have me WEEPING i am soooo ill.

- favs : OLDER!, I have more than enough, Collector

( need to mention : I have more than enough is such a callout to halloween by phoebe bridgers ... read more

dodie - Intertwined

Hearing sick of losing soulmates as a 12-year-old was the greatest thing to ever happen to me.

- favs : sick of losing soulmates, when

dodie - Hot Mess
90

After listening so much to FIZZ, I can hear so much of her change in style through this EP.

- favs : no big deal (i love you)......................... i am normal soo normal about it

dodie - Human
94

She changed the trajectory of my life as a kid, I owe this album my entire life

- favs : She, Burned Out, If I'm Being Honest

dodie - Build a Problem
94

Sorry, When, and Before the Line is a punch to the stomach. Every single time I listen to this album I feel simulatenous 10, 16, and 20 years old. This album is nostalgic, energetic, heartbreaking, and everything in between. Dodie never ever misses.

- favs : When, Sorry, Before the Line

dodie - You
93

this feels like ranking a taylor album where i feel obligated to give every song at LEEAST a 4.5/5 purely based on nostalgia alone. dodie is everything to me i adore her music and her soul so much.

- favs : 6/10, secret for the mad, instrumental

Bridgit Mendler - Hello My Name Is...
100

I think about this album almost every single day. I have joked a lot about how incredible it is and how it's the album of the century, but it is not a joke. This album is everything I will die on this hill. It's timeless, nostalgic, and the best album ever created on the planet. and that is DR Bridget Mendler to you.
- favs : Hold On For Dear Love, Blonde, The Fall Song (and the entire rest of the album - every single song.)

boy pablo - Soy Pablo
81

This album carried me through 2019-2020. I love boy pablo's sound and how contagious the joy and energy his music is. Everytime I listen to this album I have to get up and dance around.

- favs : Losing You, Feeling Lonely, Sick Feeling

Flower Face - Baby Teeth
92

chewed. i am not in a state of mind to give a proper well thought out review so ill just leave you this; "im over them i dont want them anymore" but also "id go back to you in a heartbeat" type of album. RAHHHHHHHHHH

- favs : Sleeping Season, Another Life, Hangman Hands

Searows - Guard Dog
100

This album is the best. the best. album ever. I don't know how to explain my feelings about this album without slamming my keyboard and saying words that don't make any sense. This ENTIRE album. THE ENTIRE ALBUM are words taken straight out of my head. I can relate every single interest every single experience in my life every feeling ive ever had into the songs on this album. I listen to it when I'm sad, happy, tired, everything. Having a dead parent makes half of these songs have an entirely ... read more
