Really want to go to seychelles and I had known the first two songs on this album so here we go. Man i want to go to seychelles even more after listening to this. Takes me to a happy place, reminds me of the coast. Gonna listen to more city pop now and make a playlist. Masayoshi you have done great things
Really consistent vision here, no super standout tracks and could have been cut down a bit but really solid album nonetheless
Definitely a low 70 on this one, still liked it but just not very coherent of an EP. Last two songs were what I like to hear
Another random EP, really excited for this one. This also sounds ridiculous in lossless. What a banger EP. No gripes, just wish it was longer. 1 and 4 are insane.
Still randomly listening to the best albums of all time but im boutta exit the library so ripping EPs this time. I will say that punk is one of my most underlistened genres ever so here we go.
I thought this was pretty good, still haven't developed a ton of appreciation for this type of music in a way that I would appreciate it beyond a just "liking it" level though.
Start of the journey for listening to every top 500 album (never gonna happen) but lessgo.
Wow this could end up being one of my favorite albums ever, certainly was up there for me in terms of first listens. Super ethereal, production was spot-on, and the vocals stood out magnificently.
Definitely a lot more substance and rhythm to this album than many other IDM record I've ever given a full listen to. Definitely think that led it to be less diverse in its soundscape, though more consistent overall. Very nice album and I could see a lot of these tracks being sampled in hip-hop if they haven't already.
Wow. Great album. Was looking for more Aphex Twin type stuff when looking through the IDM section but this works just fine. Didn't exactly have the dreamy, liminal, futuristic-but-from-the-early-2000s vibe that I expected from the album cover and title, but it was still very entrancing. Very nice.
Ts good for a pluggnb album, definitely the most consistent I've ever seen but still not impressing me an insane amount.
This thing is the definition of when an album is by far the best/most iconic of an entire genre. This thing is goated from front to back - so many absolute bangers that collectively create a futuristic and a liminal vibe.
This thing has that IDM style but with a bit more substance on a lot of tracks, I enjoyed this aspect at times but there were other times where it made the tracks a bit too bland. Overall though a classic IDM album and I can sure see why.
Not sure what she was talking about however it’s very orchestral and sounded like the climax of a Disney movie at time. There was some very decent variety and new groundbreaking sound to this which is always a feature of a critically acclaimed album. I wasn’t impressed by a massive margin though this is a great album.
This to me sounds like Christmas music that isn’t about Christmas. I enjoyed it it was very chill and calming but nothing crazy, dont really understand the super strong appeal behind this thing.
I liked this one much more towards the end of the album, the majority of the beginning felt like it was the same thing with the horns and choral opening, which was alright but not my favorite. However the last 5 songs switched it up a lot and really impressed me kinda like how his last album did. Jazzy vibe was good but took over this album too much, tho there were some incredible tracks that switched it up.
